You can open FM > Preferences > Search for “Location” and check what location is being used.

Yes, was not a big problem for me because I bought game yesterday, was waiting for console version but don’t like( no update,logos,kits…) . 
Not sure is that helps to update but now working everything.

I moved from one folder to another, deleted, uninstalled, and installed again but in the end, everything is working super.

Is the "public" folder normal in windows? I've never seen it before.

 

On Mac click “View > Show Path Bar" or “CMD+Shift+P” before taking the screenshot, so it shows the full path:

Also be clear if you're using Steam or Games Pass or Xbox Pass or something else. 

Are you sure you don't have a sub-folder within your editor data folder? The files are not in the right place if you can't select them pre-game

I also tried downloading the file you added above but I cannot extract the zip on my laptop with any app.

 

When I go to start a new save, the “Database” tab is greyed out which I think is the problem but just do not know how to fix. 

That's how it should look so no idea why it's not working, do the league updates show up correctly? For example is Brann in the Norwegian premier division?

No keep those, I haven't tested today's one yet but it should work normally

 

Can you post a screenshot of your editor data folder? And is it just the changes from deadline day missing or all of them?

Can you try this file and let me know if it fixes it. Use it alongside the normal files in the update.

Open steam and make sure that ‘tools' is enabled here. You should then have ‘Football Manager 2022 Editor' somewhere in the list. 

With that you can basically edit anything you want. This guy has a pretty helpful playlist that explains how everything works:

@Biggeeder If you want to start a new save now, you can also just change it for those Fiorentina players in the pre-game editor yourself. Do you know how that works?

Is it because they are already on their maximum? Can you make a screenshot of it? Registration rules can be edited, but I don't know if that would be a good thing to do.

There was an isue with players that already had a future transfer set up in the base database. I've edited him again now which will probably fix it for tomorrow's update
