@adriano roberto I spent way too long laughing that a player with the surname, “Mucuri”, was at a club called, “Murici”, which is only 1 letter out (and slightly in the wrong order) from spelling his own surname. Shame he wasn't Rodrigo Murici!

@Footygamer I've found two very specific website design issues, thought I'd bring them to your attention. They all probably have very simple fixes…

1. On Chrome (possibly also Opera), at zoom levels of 125%+: The “Top Bar” (including the little grey bar below it) is above everything, including the browser's scroll bar. The Scroll bar should take preference above everything else, so hopefully you can change this.
2. There is also an issue with the small grey bar that is part of the Top Bar, sometimes its invisible, but when its invisible, it still takes the cursor's click and doesn't pass it through. So, if there's a link within that area of the screen (from behind) and you click on it while the grey bar is invisible, it either does nothing, or takes it to a link featured in that grey bar, despite the fact its invisible at the time.

@Matthew Salisbury This has been rejected, because that's the wrong player. The player in question is https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/person/2000160023 (and he's already at Fisher).

@phucp174 This has been fixed. All this time as an admin and I didn't know that I could disable all edits, reverting to the original source material. It'd also help if this system didn't allow users to move players to clubs in the game that are extinct, inactive, etc. 

@Footygamer The system won't allow me to transfer the players at https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/team/23072088 to the right team.

The Sichuan Jiuan thing is my fault, I'll fix that. But the thing regarding Yunnan Yukun cannot be fixed unless @Footygamer can do something? Yunnan Yukun does not exist in this stored version of the database.

If you paid enough attention to this, you'd realize that the version of the database the SortItOutSI Transfer Update was based on is 23.3, not 23.4. In this database the player was at a different club, so that edit has to be made in this Transfer Update too. I'd rather you were more informed before talking like this to a member of staff.

I'm currently going through a backlog of old transfers that happened back in march, this is one of them, if you can find me a source that proves he's currently not attached to a club, I'll approve that.

Question: Is this a bug? All I've done is set the expiry date of the pre-existing loan to 30 June 2024, as the club you had listed, AFC Tubize, is the wrong club. He's already on loan at the right club, but had no expiry.

I would recommend if you know how to use the Pre-Game Editor. Loading the latest SortItOutSI Data Update, and just making it so that Slot has a future transfer to Liverpool on 1/7/2024, as Manager (First Team). Truly, with how backwards the UK has become in terms of football post-Brexit. It could be this week, next week, a few weeks time. The only rough estimate I can give you is probably within the next 2-3 weeks. Honestly, although its in the background, I think football is one of the sectors that has been most negatively affected by Brexit. Although the Home Office don't say it, its probably why the new ESC Permits have been issued. The current system makes it a pain in the ass to get foreign staff into the country, and it puts this really high bar (for most clubs in the country below the Premier League) on the type of talent they can bring in. 

@Script1ner  @Lebohang Mokoena If anything, what's slowing down Slot signing a contract is things like this… He's essentially in FM, on the part where you choose the staff you're bringing from the old club, but because of stupid Work Permit rules on staff in England (which granted, is worse on FM), there's a period of limbo now where all the backroom staff he's submitted are ‘foreign’, for lack of a better word.

@Footygamer I have a question about the SI Missed Category now, on checking that list.

So… This, as an example. Why hasn't whatever system deals with this, automatically moved your edit from SI Missed to Disabled, seeing as that later edit does the proper change? I'm willing to start cutting down the 3,178 entries currently in the SI Missed category (with a view to maybe entirely removing the category once they're all dealt with?), and making edits where required. But shouldn't something like this have automatically taken that one away? Usually later edits disable all previous edits, even if they were pending. Is something overriding that on SI Missed? 

My question is, what is the point of the category going forward, seeing as there won't be any further updates from SI to the database? Having "SI Missed" once the current ones have been dealt with, seems pointless, because it doesn't mean anything. It would mean something if, for example, there were future updates to come in the database and players needed to be marked who SI might add the changes to in the future, but as its now the final database update from SI, barring any emergency patches which won't change the database now. But that's not the case.

If you can give me proof that the contract with the club has been terminated before the May 21st, 2024 date (ie: Mutual Termination, being released, etc) in that Facebook Post, I'm willing to approve it now. The way I'm understanding the Facebook Post is that he's under contract until that date, and then will become a Free Agent.

@adriano roberto If you have misunderstood that, for now just change his loan's termination date to May 21st, 2024, and I believe the system should make that change when that loan expires.

@adriano roberto My other question, is: Are you sure you're not misreading that? There's nowhere in that Facebook Post you've used as a source that indicates that he's leaving his parent club, Campinense-PB? Just that the loan is being terminated early. 

@adriano roberto “Luan Santos' contract with São José EC runs until May 21st”. This is likely why it hasn't been approved, because the player hasn't left the club yet, and won't do until May 21st.

Setting as Player / Non Player to give Joe Hart the chance to gain coaching courses and such if he moves to a new club, and so he doesn't just outright retire.

Fulham need a £75,000 CVA Debt starting July 1st 2024 and Ending June 30th 2025, with 0% Interest.

Fulham need a Transfer Embargo, of type Attached Player Ban, starting April 15th 2024, and ending October 15th 2024. Appeal Date must be Jan 1st 2000 (to prevent Fulham from appealing this in-game — According to the aforementioned article, Fulham have accepted the charges and punishments), and the Age Restriction must be 21.

@Script1ner A Future Transfer won't be able to approved in the Data Update, until Slot is confirmed as the incoming manager (by Liverpool most likely, on their website or official Twitter Account [I'm never going to call it X!]). It is my understanding, from various sources (don't quote me on this, though), that Slot could travel to the AXA Training Centre sometime this week to sign a contract and do the obligatory publicity shoots that come with that.

@Footygamer What's happening with the “SI Missed” category? I've found a bunch of players I'd like to push as updates, but they currently fall under that. There's going to be no further transfer updates… So, is the current SI Database aligned with the FM24 Final Transfer Update, and if so, what is the point of that category continuing? 

@Footygamer According to the Patch Notes, “Fixed issue where player transfers would not take effect in Real World mode” is implemented. Hopefully it works now, and it doesn't make adding transfers more difficult on this when the ability to make edits here returns. Would it be possible to, before editing returns, add a very minor functionality: Can you add a checkbox on the edit page for Will Retire At End of Contract. I've found it confusing about what to do when Players announce Retirement IRL?

Yeah. It should probably exist in the sortitoutsi system, but it doesn't, so unless I forget because the end of the SPFL season is a while away, the plan is the IRL day after his contract expiry (June 1st, 2024), I (or hopefully somebody else) will change his player type to Non-Player.

Temporary Measure, as there's no way to make Joe Hart currently retire at the end of Celtic's Season. Hopefully, this should increase the chances that he will.

@Footygamer Yes, but on any club profile (not player profiles), that panel to exist at the top of the list. Make sure transfer-market-player and transfer-market-non-player are two separate sources, though.

Here's a compromise… Could you make a panel exactly like the one I showed (just with List All instead of Open All), with the same functionality, but make it so it takes all the information, and lists it all on a neat page? The difficulty for me is differentiating between player and staff more than anything, so having a nice list I could generate that just has the names with a link next to them, e.g: transfer-market-player and are players or are staff, with the option to exclude players who have moved to the club with an edit, cutting out anybody who doesn't have any info, or doesn't have the specified source. I think that would be fine also.

@Footygamer This would really help me out here. Is it possible that, on a club's profile, e.g: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/team/339, there's a panel with some stuff between the search bar and the first player in the list? Something like this…
 

…Basically I'd like a way of opening all players (or staff) pages (in the same window, alphabetically as new tabs), for example, of a specified source (e.g: transfer-market-player), only skipping pending or active edits in which the player is moving or has moved to that club. If the Source, and Moved to Club preference can be saved, even better. This would save me a great deal of time as I currently have to do this manually.

@Club Almagro The club hasn't confirmed they've signed him yet?

@vincentwarnar This will most likely be held back, until its confirmed by the club on twitter or their website.

Putting this in as a Temporary Measure, because he's currently been released by Sevilla, but hasn't yet been signed by Al-Shabab.
