@Footygamer Makes sense why I was going through old bits of the queue, and seeing stuff like “Will Leave At End of Contract”, and those contracts were already expired, as of Jan 1st.

@Footygamer Would it be possible to add to the “IMPORTANT” section of the Edit page, that Free Agents should have their Club, Contract Expiry Date and Contract Start Date removed, instead of setting “Will Leave At End Of Contract” to “Yes”? I've seen people do the latter, instead of the former and its a pain to reset. Also, would it be possible to have a change to Player Profiles, so the Public Profiles are on that page, above “Data Update Data”, instead of part of the Edit Page? I often find myself needing to go onto the Edit Page, just to check the sources a player has.

@adam svenson As a guideline for future updates: If the player has already left their club IRL, do not use the “Will Leave At End Of Contract” button… Instead, remove their Current Club, Contract Expiry Date and Contract Start Date, this will make them a Free Agent.

@natanfranghieru Holding this back until it's confirmed by a secondary source, as Transfermarkt and Futmob, his two official sources, both say he's currently a Free Agent. If you can find another article which cites that he has a contract expiry of Jan 24th 2024, I'll push it through.

@Footygamer What's going to happen when SI release their big Winter Update? Will there be a reset of what's being done, since the database will then presumably be based on the newer base? I didn't really experience much of this side of things last year, as I joined later into the game cycle. Also, might be worth, as a rule of thumb, the direction being: For any large Transfer Fee above £1M, round to the nearest multiple of 100K; For Transfer Fees between £250K and £999K, round to the nearest multiple of 10K; For Transfer Fees between £100K and £249K, round them to the nearest multiple of 5K; For Transfer Fees between £0 and £99K, round to the nearest multiple of 500. Would cause less arguments, and less minor changes.
