I managed to change it to the original metallic one you sent me by just changing it to 85036458 uefa fra. so i imagine i could do that with the small one as well?

I'm guessing there is a “small” folder inside the “primary” one….
Open any small logo there and tell me it's dimensions (like 25 pixels horizontal,18 pixels vertical)…or attach it here.

Does this work?

Save this logo,rename it to 85036458_uefa_fra and put it in the “primary” folder.
Go to game Preferences > Interface, disable "Use caching to decrease page loading times" and enable "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences"

That worked! Thanks so much. How would I go about changing the small one on the league table?

Delete the racing folder from there.
Open “clubs” folder and show me screenshot of it.

Show me one example of your current collection,not all the logo styles have the same folder structure.

So it's DVX logos. So the route is Sports interactive - Graphics - DVX pack and then put the ‘Racing’ Folder in there

Well,I usually pack requests here by regular names,but when I downloaded your request again I saw I already named them right.
Copy all 4 folders (back left,back right,normal,small) to your clubs folder of the metallic megapack.

I’ve just realised I have a different logo pack not the metallic. i’m guessing that’s why its not working?

Yes,make sure logo is named by club's UID number.
Reload skin in the game.

Sorry if I’m being stupid but when I opened the pack you sent the logos already had the clubs UID in them? unless you’re talking about something else. i’ve put it in the graphics pack but doesn’t seem to be working yet

That is old logo,you can see it in the file name.
It was used in 1983-1984

Ah my bad! I didn't realise I couldn't do that.

Mate, you need to start paying more attention to what people tell you and not just skim through stuff, including installation instructions. I've mentioned more than one time now that these files need to be in place before starting a new game and it's also made clear in the main post.

That seems to be the correct folder. If you start a new save now, everything in that folder should now work as intended. Apart from the files whose date modified is 2021, which will probably need to be updated to work with 22.4, but that's another story.

Okay will try again thanks. do i need to start the save to see the changes? cause when i was flicking through the teams then looking for one to use Ajax still had no staff

A couple of lines further down is the correct installation folder for Macs, in a spoiler.

Yeah I did it that way, through ‘Go’ and holding down the option key etc

This is what that editor data looks like.

Just to be clear the path I used was

Library > Application Support > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2022 > Editor data

There's a reason why I ask for screenshots, and it is to avoid assumptions and wasting everyone's time. As suspected, you haven't installed the files correctly. Step 5 contains specific instructions for installation on a Mac - please follow them. For all these changes, you will need to start a new game.

The first post then contains a workaround for club name changes to be effected without needing to start a new game.

In the future, I strongly recommended taking careful note of installation instructions for files, otherwise you'll end up downloading files which won't work.

You're right I had done it wrong.

Sorry for wasting your time.

I've now done this and started a new game to see if the changes have been made but still the same issues unfortunately

STEP 4:
COPY the 11 files located in the EDITOR DATA FILES folder in the downloaded pack

STEP 5
PASTE to \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2022\editor data

I've done exactly this

That's not the full path, no - there'll be other sections of the path. For a start, where is the Sports Interactive folder situated?

How are you sure that everything else in the folder is working? Can I have a screenshot of the staff page for Ajax and of the German national team, for instance?

You're right Ajax have no staff just the manager. I guess I assumed that because Juventus weren't called Zebre that it was working haha.

The sports interactive folder is just in my finder on the left

Can you copy and paste the EXACT and FULL path? If I don't have the bit prior to that, it might be that it's in the wrong place - have a look at step 5 in the main post for what the location of the editor data file should be for Apple computers.

Sorry maybe I misunderstand but that is the full path, I have a folder for sports interactive, and I just went straight from there. What's confusing me is why everything else in the folder works fine. So surely it's in the right place?

Which version of the database did you use when starting your save game? Can I have a screenshot of your lnc folder for that version?

I started the save around two months ago, not sure what database it was sorry, I'm not sure how to check either.

So for some reason today Manchester United has reverted back to ‘Man UFC’, nothing else has changed, Juventus are still Juventus.

I checked the name change folder and the Manchester United folder is still in there so I'm not too sure what the problem is.

Any help appreciated!
