More like it's posted in the Liverpool thread so we're talking about Liverpool right, not every other player on the list.

Doesn't mean you have to uproar about it because there's Liverpool players involved.

I for one thought Shelvey was very shite before the season started, but he's been one of our best players this season. Rodgers has a lot of faith in him as well.

If Mikel got a booking instead of Valencia, then so should have Rooney earlier on in the game.

There's a few other names that surely shouldn't be on there before we got to Shelvey and Sterling but hey hoe, it's Liverpool.

Sam picked out probably the worst two he could have, there are far better examples of Gerrard diving. The first one wasn't even a dive, I cant remember the 2nd.

I'm not wanting to defend Ivanovic but I can't see where a touch came there? I've watched some replays but can't tell. Might be bad eye sight, but can someone give me a gif or a still picture where the contact happens?

That's ridiculous btw.

Bernstein is chairman, life long City fan.
David Dein has been a member for ages, was also on the Arsenal board.
Phil Gartside is Bolton chairman.

David Gill is the PL representative, and the clubs are obviously happy with him because they keep electing him.

Spouting Benitez quotes doesn't really help you, that man was as crazy as they come.

I have read up on it. He realised he had missed it, went to the training ground late, the testers were still there but wouldn't let him do a test. He then offered to take a test the next day but the FA refused that as well.

Link?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/3333091.stm

The judgement comes 86 days after Ferdinand was asked to take a test at United's Carrington training headquarters, but left without undergoing the procedure.

Ferdinand claimed he then contacted the club to offer to take the test, but was told it was too late.

Either way, although it's extremely harsh and he probably never doped it would be a very risky to let him get away with it and set a bad precedent.

Oh yeah Drogba got banned 5 games or something like that as well for swearing so that can go together with the Suarez one.

But then again that was UEFA.

Eight months for missing a drugs test. Eight months? A City player did the same thing and got a fine. Rio offered to do another drugs test, and to do another one which would prove that he didn't take drugs for quite a while. The FA refused.

Players swear all the time in sport and it's often clear what they say. Rooney deserved a fine at most.

Managers very rarely get banned for criticising the refs.

As jumberto said it's all very inconsistent.

The two cases were different, the City player was on his way to the test... Plus what's the point of letting Rio do another test, that's pretty much shitting over their own regulations, showing other players they can miss tests and get away with it.

Suarez got banned for swearing too. Bet you wouldn't say he deserved a fine.

Because they were all disproportionate and inconsistent. If the FA were really bent into letting us win for years and years, surely they'd let these incidents slip seeing as it would be easier to do so.

8 month ban for being late to a drugs test. That's more than people get for failing them.

Fergie got a longer ban for (justly) critising refs than Terry got for racially abusing another player.

Late to a test? He missed the test, read up on your facts. And it's a right ban, everyone's crying out about the cycling doping yet when someone misses a test here and gets done for it they complain?

Yeah Fergie was the only one who could criticize referee's and not get done for it before that. It's evened out a bit now, but before he seemed to be the only one who got away with it.

Yeah the FA love us.

Rio banned for 8 months for missing a drugs test. Rooney banned for two matches for swearing. Fergie banned for dissing refs, fair enough, but managers do it week in week out and usually just get fines.

Damn the FA and their pro United stance!

How is that hard on you? all of those deserved punishing.

Watch it again from the reverse angle and you can quite clearly see contact on the shin as Torres' sock creases.

Will do later, althought from what I saw looked like there was no contact.

Nah, was very soft and the player was looking for it.

HERNAAAAANDEZ

This is the thing though - do you truly believe in God, or do you choose to believe in God because it's gives you that safety net, that extra bit of comfort? Is it true, unmitigated belief even though you admit to wanting to believe for the comfort it provides? Part of me wishes I did believe in God, just so I could chill and know I was going to heaven rather than facing the truth. I had the privilege of being brought up in a household where religion was never forced upon me, so I've had the freedom to make my own decisions based on science and logic. I really think this is the way it should be, where people can make their own minds up when they reach an age where they can think from themselves, as opposed to being subject to scaremongering.

By the way, I hope I'm not coming across as preachy or offensive or anything. I enjoy the discussion and completely respect your right to believe whatever the hell you want to.

I don't really know, I just like knowing there's something there and it just confuses me sometime how 'perfect' the world is, how everything works how it should etc. Probably growing up in a Catholic family led me to believing as well but I probably would have either way.

All my players are on Very High morale, except any new signings but they only take few games to get there, I rotate a lot to keep their fitness at 99 as well. The game just goes from being really easy to impossible and making some stupid mistakes. Case in point, was in division 1, won 6 in a row and only needed 1 win out of 3 to win the league, lost two and drew one..

I'm catholic and I believe in god. I'm no where near religious though, I don't go to church (well only only on special occasions), because it's the way I've been brought up. And I like the safety feeling it gives, believing there's something there, even if science proves there isn't. So I understand people who praise god for their good, it's their way of believing. But you're welcome to think you're opinion, I'm not going to sit here and preach.

It's annoying as fuck tbf, my Chemistry is usually around 100, but the game is just really random. Case in point I got beat by some guy who had a shit team, 75 chemistry 7-1, before beating someone with an 82 team with 100 chemistry, 7-1.
