The difference is, there's no way in hell he deserves what he's being offered, never mind what he wants.

He's been average at best this season.

Coutinho's been far better and won't be on anything like that.

True, I would give him 100k even though he's not been worth it this season.
The thing is right now hes only on 35k and with Rodgers fairly reluctant to sell him, hes losing out on 65k each week.

Because fortunately for us the season doesn't end after 10 games. With a better start we could've actually be seen as title contenders. Minus 1/2 areas we have the quality to challenge, unlike Liverpool; which is why we're a step up.

If we had a better start we'd be above you, if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle..

Also don't really agree with your second point, if you had quality to challenge you'd challenge.. Our squads also not as bad as you make out, it wasn't just Suarez who got us there last year (although yes, he was a massive part)

We just went 9 years without a trophy and we were piss poor at the start of the season because of his stubbornness. Almost every other football fan wanted him to stay but Arsenal fans aren't allowed to express their dismay at all? Okay then.

Then how the hell can you say you're a massive step up, with a better manager (which I'm not actually complaining about, Wengers record speaks for himself, but if you're calling for a manager to get sacked then not very logical..), better squad (which you constantly moan about) etc.
As I said considering last season, plus the fact we've actually managed to salvage this season despite the shitest of starts, I'd say it's more of a sidewards step.

Not like it really matters, you've played well today and I fancy you to get 2nd this year, especially with City being fucktards lately.
