Much much better today - could have done with him bringing on Aarons instead of Ameobi but on the whole we fought well and just lacked quality in the final third.

Finishing in the top ten before spending quite a bit in the summer = relegation battle.

Was quite clear Pardew wasn't up to leading this team forward and should have gone at the end of last year when we failed in the 'race for eighth'

Instead we were allowed to stagnate, didn't replace players properly and yes were unlucky with injuries and ended up in the same position in January.

Where we inexplicably sold some of our better players, didn't replace them at all and appointed the equivalent of a gorilla to our management position.

Quite surprising we're not bottom, tbh.

Can't fucking wait until we 'cash in' on Sissoko, Tiote, Janmaat and Cisse. Krul could do with actually saving something as well.

And no I don't think Williamson is a great player, I'm more against the obsessing over one or two apparent weak links and turning them into scapegoats. And having a childlike belief that the whole team is shite because of said player.
