Aye, I'm baffled why Liverpool fans think this is punishing Liverpool when it is in fact punishing the footballer.

If Liverpool choose to employ the footballer that is their own prerogative.

Seems a bit underwhelming for what is his 3rd offence.

I don't think Liverpool should punish a player for something he done for Uruguay.

I think Sissoko performs well both RM and CM.

It's when we play him RAM/LAM in a 4-2-3-1 where he's poor.

I think most clubs in the world would take Suarez on a free transfer too.

Actually I'll change that to every club.

I wish England had a defensive centre midfielder.

Gerrard is fucking useless at it.

I think a 4-3-3 with Milner, Gerrard, Henderson and Sterling, Sturridge, Rooney would be the best balance between attack and defence.

Rooney was nowhere near as bad as people were saying last night and he ran his socks off - he was poor but no worse than Gerrard who is supposed to be the captain.

For the life of me I can't understand why Roy Hodgson couldn't see we were repeatedly exposed down the left and changed something to combat it. A little word in Henderson's ear could have been good enough.

The Rooney-Sterling-Sturridge front 3 has so much promise imo - we need to get better defensively to allow it to work.

Welbeck wasn't poor at all yesterday, he played extremely well.

Henderson ran his socks off too.

Baines, Johnson, Rooney and Gerrard all a bit useless tonight - although Rooney's ball for the goal was pin point.

Sterling, Welbeck and Sturridge all played well - play like that against Costa Rica and Uruguay and we'll qualify though.

Why did we leave Ashley Cole at home so much better defensively than Baines.

Hart and our two centre backs were excellent tonight, though.

Wilshere instead of Lampard and I'd agree with that if you were taking an attacking approach.

I think we need Welbeck or Milner in there to do the running for people like Rooney/Gerrard who won't be able to go for the full 90 in that heat/humidity.

5 quid lost, Hodgson said hes not playing

Even if that was true he'd get it as a returned stake for a non-runner.

Aye Lallana is nowhere near fit enough to play a full game in that heat.

A win would be excellent but I'd take a draw as long as it was coupled with a draw/win against Uruguay.

5-0 England imo

Unlucky that, great header regardless of being offside.

Chile are here for the taking.

Aye, I've been using it for a while now - it's quite weak defensively but is devastating going forward.

I scored 99 goals last year, but conceded 58.

A 3 man defence with a half back and a sweeper would be interesting...

Yeah, I don't think he's ever going to be a technical player though.

He's strong, fast and has a powerful shot. Good in the air too. Given the right time and service he could be tremendous.

Goes missing too often to be a important player for a top side yet.

Yeah but they narrowly missed out on the Premier League this year, and weren't far off in the Champions League either. He's better than Torres and probably about equal to Ba - but has so much potential. He could be a real force.

I use an Enganche and two Shadow Strikers and it works extremely well.

I use Ravel Morrison and have taught him to run with the ball down the right and left - so he roams around the pitch. He got 16 goals and 15 assists in 36 games last year.
