He's one of the best managers of all time already. And he's got about 15 years on everyone else.

Fwiw - the Barcelona 'tiki-taka crap' absolutely took apart Real Madrid a few weeks ago in the league.

Guardiola's team in 2011 was beautiful to watch, now it's extremely boring. The definition of over playing.

Aye. Arsenal were always going to win that comfortably. Newcastle set up for a 0-0 but our defence is appalling so it never works. We don't even try to score goals.

Excuses are annoying, but they're pretty much just symptomatic of the bigger picture.

I wouldn't have given two shits what Moyes said to the media if he was winning football matches, and I'm sure the same is true for you and Pardew.

Pardew is quite good with the media tbf - certainly his best attribute. He does make a lot of excuses though.

The article I posted contains quotes with excuses in them.

In Pardew's interview today he said we played quite well. So he might be drunk today or something hence the lack of excuses.

Mourinho is a hypocrite?!

I'm shocked.

Every football manager is a hypocrite.

Pardew doesn't really make excuses. I don't think he's moaned about a decision all season. He's said, 'I take full responsibility' the last few weeks as well

Newcastle havent been that bad. Haven't created much, but neither has Arsenal, aside from Debuchy fucking up to let Giroud through and a header from a corner.

No worse than an average premier league performance.

Probably your most ridiculous comment - and you've made a few. http://www.espnfc.com/blog/_/name/newcastleunited/id/1902?cc=5739

Is it possible to code something into the site Rob? I want every time a full time whistle goes in a newcastle game "Pardew out, Newcastle are awful" Getting bored of posting it.

Aye, Gerrard was trying to make amends for his error by shooting every time he got the ball within 35 yards of the goal. Seriously poor performance from him yesterday.

Cech as a left back? Ballsy move

Tactical genius.

Of course I meant instead of De Gea

But Gerrard did slip and Chelsea scored.

They then scored again due to quite frankly ridiculous defending. (diving in when the only man in a 2on1 situation.)

I really don't understand when managers slate other's tactics after they've just been beaten by them. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Rodgers actually came out and said "We were the only team trying to win" - well if you look at it that way Chelsea have just beaten you without even trying. Go figure.

I'd say the same as Ninja but definitely Terry and Cech instead of Baines.

Boavista are certainly interesting - fallen so far since their heyday.

Aye the runs with ball through centre one.

I signed Kacar with the intention of playing him CB and he kept dribbling and it was pissing me off.

I'd play him centre midfield while trying to get rid of those PPM's - CB with those PPM's is asking for disaster.

I wouldn't sign anyone, I'd just train Jones.

Kondogbia out of the two though.

I doubt it will be for backup though. Pardew rates Anita and Tiote as a centre midfield partnership despite the fact they have the creativity of a potato.

Ditch the 4-2-3-1 is probably my best advice.

Use something more rigid like a 4-5-1 or 4-4-2. Make sure players aren't being instructed to do things that they're incapable of (don't tell Richard Stearman to be playing a short passing game) and make sure your defensive line matches the tempo of the game you're trying to play (deep-slow, high-fast).

Hope this helps.
