ANY HELP would be appreciated please!!! I've extracted the latest db update files. It says it's compatible on v24.3 but when I go to the main FM screen it seems to be on v24.2. How do I update the game to 24.3 please???

I can't find the option on Steam in my library.

Does anyone know please...SO I've finally sat down to play an NUFC game having started with a couple of challenging saves as Celtic and England

Anyway I started the game and have a budget of £4.32 million what the absolute fuck?!!! I had to check if Ashley was still in charge

IF I start with say the latest database update will it still be that amount or something a bit more realistic?

…I've started pimping my FM2024 on a new laptop and I cant seem to get the graphics to work. I've tried the facepacks so far, I can see them extracted to my graphics folder and the pics are there but when i reloaded cache on confirm….nothing?!

Any help would be appreciated TIA

Try starting the game with the default skin; there's an option this year as to when you want to start your save game (either in early pre-season, or just before the season starts, among other options).

Right I've finally FINALLY got the time to sit down and have a good sesh on FM17 despite having it bought for my birthday on the release date.

So Ive pimped it all pics, kits, got the SKY SPORTS 2 SKIN, etc etc BUT the problem is no matter what update I use or the original database the game ALWAYS starts on AUGUST 9TH :-/ which is 4 days before the first fixture (I only play as Newcastle). So I cant arrange friendlies or anything and only have a little over 3 weeks to overhaul the squad.

Surely that can't be right??? Am I missing a simple trick before starting the game or is my actual game corrupt?

Help me kind souls thanks

The update packs are relatively small and they aren't available via torrent, no. Not sure that's what you're asking tbh...

I just meant is there torrents for logos kits etc but its ok i think ive got everything now cheers mate

Mons I cant find the Torrent link I'm going to try it on Utorrent now seeing as I still get the "failed -network error" message after its spent hours downloading when I click directly on the zip file???

Yeah Ive clicked resume too and nothing happens it just wont resume even though it had downloaded 8.4 GB of it :-S Ive NEVER had a problem with a single download for anything. Also using Adblock its just keeps on saying 'failed - server unreachable'

Can I just transfer FM16's facepacks over to 17? I dont have a torrent I use atm and it will probably take longer than a Zip file to download. On my system info it says 'Installed RAM 6.00GB (5.88 GB usable)' if that makes any difference ???

Sorry to appear pedantic, but where is File manager>Downloads? Do you mean the folder in the attached image?

To be sure you're looking in the right folder, go to this page and click any of the download completed request buttons as a test. Once you do, you should get a window showing you the path it is to be saved in. Navigate to that section manually and see if there's anything around that size in there at the date and time when you downloaded them. I'm finding it very strange to understand how you downloaded a file that big but have nothing to show for it. Usually, even if the file was only partially completed, there is still a partial file left of some sort

Mate thats what I'm trying to say they're nowhere to be seen!!!

Hmm, that's strange. Do you know where you downloads go by default? e.g. Documents, Desktop, Downloads? Can you check in there if there's anything which could conceivably be one of the files?

Yeah I've already checked in File manager>Downloads and neither of those two zip files are there. I actually watched both downloads reach 8.4 GB then those errors came up

Can you try and click the arrow beside the Chrome download bar down at the bottom and select the show in folder option? Does that work? If yes, what is displayed?

Right mons if I open the downloads folder from Chrome there is no sign of it. Ive downloaded it twice:

If I right click on them it just says reload, print etc if I click on it it just redirects me to the download page off SI. There is no option to show in folder as you can see mate :-S

Do you still have a temporary file saved in your downloads folder? If yes, can you post a screenshot of it? Maybe just changing the extension manually to .rar will be enough, but I'd like to have a look first to confirm...

I'm downloading it again first mate see how it gets on fingers crossed thanks!

The temp file is in the Chrome downloads where it says server failure I cant find the file in my file explorer downloads as succh if that makes sense???

Hi would appreciate some help I've got FM16 but really fancied playing this especially if I could play in the lower leagues like Salford City or Darlington in England. BUT I've downloaded the file. Copied it into editor data but when I go to choose leagues the lowest league I can manage in is the normal one. AND in editor data your files arent showing? Hpow do I correct this please thanks mate?!!!

Thanks. I think it was due to something I'd copied over from FM14. I deleted the skin and a few other files I used in 14 and it worked

I hope the game is fine when its patched I'm getting so many injuries on this one its not even funny!
