@Cymro If I was to use an expansion, I'd probably think of using this file (although I'm open to using a different one, I just found that on the workshop). Would that be acceptable or if not, would my other suggestion comply with the rules?

After trying this a few years ago and completing all of Ireland before giving up I've decided to give it another go.

I just wanted to clarify a couple of things about this part of the rules. Does this mean you can't use any expansion or just that expansions don't count towards the 36 trophies?

I was thinking of starting with a db that activates levels 7 and 8 in England so that I could see how Hereford progress back through the leagues over the years. I don't mind using a db that doesn't edit the FA Cup and Trophy if that is an issue and I'm happy not to manage teams that started in these leagues if that is also an issue.
If using any expansion is an issue then what about simply swapping Hereford with Cinderford (it's all but mathematically guaranteed that we'll be swapping places at the end of this season anyway as we're 13 points clear at the top and they're 12 points from safety). That way Hereford could get promoted into the Conference North in the same random way any other club in the 7th tier can.

Also, I assume as the rules only specify downloaded competitions and expansions I'm fine to use the Sortitoutsi transfer/contracts data update?

@Sir TAVARES He has now moved back to Merthyr. It is probably better to just disable this than to make a new transfer as it will keep his contract details as they are in the vanilla game this way.

UITC (United In The Community) is the name for the charity that is the Hereford youth team. Him leaving UITC represents him leaving the club.

That is the badge for Hereford FC (the Hereford United pheonix club). The UID is 82070144. Some websites might show a slightly different badge as the one that won the fans vote was tweaked after fan feedback.

As you are updating the pack now I just thought I'd make sure you are aware of what the Hereford FC badge is (a lot of websites incorrectly have the first draft of the badge instead of the final version).

EDIT: Just saw a thread titled 'Request Thread' so apologies if this should be in there. I can't view that thread though, when I try to view it, it says "Whoops, looks like something went wrong.".

What exactly is it that doesn't work with them? I've never noticed a problem using GIMP to make SS kits.

Is the template for this year the same as for 11-13? I found this http://sortitoutsi.net/forums/topic/1062/standard11-13-template-kits-thread but couldn't see one for 14.

I am trying to set specified fixtures and I have come across two issues.

TV Type
I notice the options are Blank, None, Satellite, Pay per view, National and Do Not Televise.

Does choosing Satellite, Pay per View or National make a difference in game? I assume not because money is split between all the teams.
Does choosing Blank, None or Do Not Televise make a difference as well?
Can some one please help me with these questions.

I assume for England; Sky = Satellite, BT Sport = Satellite and BBC/ITV/Channel 5 = National. Is this right?

I notice you can import fixtures from a text file in the format "Date" "Time" "Team" "Team" 3 1.

What type of text file is it? I tried the obvious extensions (.txt and .csv).

I assume I can make one in excel as it would be easier than the editor.


Also, is it possible to use specified fixtures (or advanced rules) for cup competitions? For example, to make the real FA Cup draw.

That is a shame. Luckily our directors paid the tax bill so we avoided administration. I may try it from the start of the season for a bit of fun though.

Is this the same style that is in FM by default (e.g. England bar the BPL)?

If so I will be downloading

Hereford United currently have a transfer embargo which stated earlier his month and they will probably enter administration next Monday (possibly the best case scenario).

Is there a way I can set administration to start on that date. I tried putting a big debt to start and end on that date but it just starts monthly payments from that date.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread but is there league/nation packs anywhere? I only want the English ones and possibly the national flags/logos so I wondered if they were available without getting the whole pack.

I was also wondering how big the complete pack is (I doubt I will get it but just so I know) I had it on my old computer but deleted it, I remember it was several GB.
