#88607 Transfer Rumours 2013/14

Sad day, but in a twitter bullshit filled world I guess it makes sense

Marseille to sign Imbula (CM, 21, Ligue 2 player of the year last season) for 7.5M€
Another brillant signing after Payet and Mendy (suck it Sunderland), I can't believe how well the club has been handling transfers lately, complete 180 from last year.

Of all my years watching the Tour, I've only seen a few people placing such devastating attacks as this: Ricco (Hilarious), Rasmussen, Contador (both here), Mayo (again).
His results in the time-trials are also improbabe considering his physique.
We'll see in a few years, but for many it will be the least surprising news ever.

Are you serious? Friday's coup was all about perfect strategy and perfect execution. There was nothing out of the ordinary performance wise, just an entire team riding. Sky put themselves on perfect conditions today, but in the end it's still Porte and Froome looking like they ware on a different planet
Well, there is an ever increasing number of instances where performances that looked to good to be true turned out to be too good to be true, and I'm conviced today was one of them.
No doubt sport science has gone a long way, that teams like Sky have more ressources than any other before, that technological doping has also helped (GB's OlympicTrack team last year was the prime example), but Wiggins and Froome poping up as the same time as Aicar become known isn't a coincidence.
As for people not talking on Sky it's still a very young structure so it's comprehensible no-one has talked yet.

Froome will still win easily thought, he won't lose time on the mountains and win the CLM by at least 1 minute on every other favorite

3M after he opted out of 10M with the Wolves, must be some shady stuff going on with Prokhorov.

I also confused myself in the process because Vasquez was considered a trading chip, but he was part of the Evans trade going the other way along with Robin Lopez.
As for Oden the Heat still have their Mid Level Exception so they can get him with that, the Spurs could only offer him the veteran minimum and Dallas whatever they want.

Chelsea are short on homegrown players.
That's also why the Moses rumors are nonsense. He ain't going anywhere.

- Ryan Anderson and Vasquez are with the Pelicans, not the Magic
- The rumours Anderson vs Asik + other things are true
The Pelicans consider Vasquez as a good trading chip, since they got Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans, on top of Eric Gordon at the guards positions.

Orlando is trying him at the point, kinda like OKC did with Westbrook. It has the double advantage of extending his skillset and tank at the same time (Westbrook was dreadful when he started, OKC got a lottery pick and selected Harden), with the 2014 draft it's a good move.

The most importance difference is formulas vs serials. Network TV hate serials, they want episodes to be watchable individually, and you can't have a quality drama series with individual episodes. Fringe is the best example for that, it went from meh in Season 1 to downright amazing in Season 2-3 when they stopped caring about the ratings (credit to Fox on this one, they've cancelled a lot of good shows but let Fringe have 5 seasons and a proper ending)
Just finished the first season of The Americans, really good stuff. It's like Homeland, Mad Men and Rubicon had a baby. Looking forward to Season 2

I don't blame you for having such a selective memory, that was truly embarrassing

I sincerely hope Bayern thrashes Dortmund in the final. Schweinsteiger deserves one.

I think they have a certain amount of medals that they can distribute to whoever they want.
As for Terry in full kit last year there was a directive from the UEFA to have all players in full kit to make better photos. He joked about it afterwards that he was quick to put the kit on.
Lampard so nearly there, unbelievable strike, Ivanovic's header wasn't bad neither. Even if their was a defender on the line he wouldn't have saved it.
Typical Chelsea.

Why on earth do they only have 3 tie-breakers (points > goal difference > goals scored) ? It's even more laughable considering Chelsea beat Arsenal home and away this season.

Such a shame how this show has gone from brillance to this in two years.
Harmon really tanked the show when he knew he was gone and it has carried it into the fourth season.

They're currently tearing down the old Presidential stand; while also covering both virages
And we're planted in the second spot with Lille, Lyon and Saint-Etienne all dropping points.
12th 1-0 win of the season and 7th consecutive clean-sheet for Mandanda
