Hello,

 

Deniz Gül have chosen Turkish national team and have 3 caps IRL, can we change his preference to Turkey in-game?

 

I also don’t understand why Can Uzun’s national team switch is always disabled. In real life, both of them play for Turkey, but in all my saves they decide not to. Could we update this? If not, which file do I need to edit in the editor to make these changes for my own save?

Ah, right - yes, I see now. Sorry, I completely overlooked that part as being different from what I had. In that case - yes, that should be possible.

 

For the new Update, the rule is still wrong. Could you watch over it again? The U23 Date ingame is 1/1/2001. it has to be 1/1/2000.

So the change/extension to the rule is that concept around players bought/registered in one season being able to then be extra foreign players for the second season? Or that the players signed and registered in the first season are exempt from the age-restriction part of the rule in the second season? That is my reading of it, at least - I am not sure if it is the translation, but I can't really make clear sense of the rule from what you posted. In particular, this part:

 

 

The change is, that the U23 Rule is now a U24 Rule. In the text I sent you before, the latest date for the younger foreign players was January 2003, which has now been moved back to 2002. So you would just need to shift the two dates by one year.

I am just curious - in terms of what you think is incorrect, how is it functionally in-game?

 

I am asking because when I was making the Turkey file, I was consulting the rules and these are the rules I attempted to build the rules against. Perhaps I have not implemented it correctly - but when I was testing, it was working for me (at least in terms of the best-fit possible to my understanding).

 

Specifically, for the first in-game season (which is 2023/24, but which represents 2025/26 in real-life), Turkish Super Lig teams should be allowed a total of 14 foreigners, a maximum of 12 of whom can be over 23 years old. Which essentially means that at least 2 of them must be under 23 years old. This was the closest estimation possible to the threshold of being born on or after 01-01-2023.

 

Similarly, for the secnod in-game season (which is 2024/25, but which represents 2026/27 in real-life), the rule is set up to change so that at least 4 of the 14 foreigners must be under 23 years old.

 

If how I have described it above is how you are experiencing that it is working in-game, I would say that this is the closest match possible to the real rules. I have selected 23 years old, in the rules, as the threshold because that is what the intention of the real-life rule is, I believe.

 

As much detailed feedback you can provide about what is functionally incorrect would be very useful - I am very happy to review the implementation and correct anything that can be corrected.

 

I am so sorry, the mistake is on me. After checking the birthday of some players now, I saw that you implemented it perfectly. 

Have a 22 year old one in the squad which was born in December. It was just to late when I started the game yesterday.

Hello, the foreign player rule for the Turkish league is not correct. Is it technically possible to update it to the current version?

(1) Clubs can have a maximum of 14 players in the A Team List who are not eligible to play for the Turkey A National Football Team (“foreign players”).
For 12 of the 14 foreign players that can be included in the A Team List, there are no age requirements. If all 14 foreign players are listed, then for the 2025–2026 season, at least 2 of them must have been born on or after 01.01.2003.

For the 2026–2027 season, at least 4 of the 14 foreign players must have been born on or after 01.01.2004.
