Regarding press conferences I don´t know how to turn off them (and I even don't know if is possible).
Concerning the screenshot, my suggestion is to use the files in the alt match titlebar without managers - timer left or in the alt match titlebar without managers, weather and referee

It never happened in my game and is the first time that that bug is reported. I believe it related with some kind of conflict with other skin. Try to clear the cache and keep this skin only in the skins folder of the game.

If you want to remove the oppacity you just have to go to client object browser.xml and change
<widget class="picture" file="backgrounds/fade"
for, for example
<widget class="picture" file="backgrounds/fades" (this change is only for avoid that the code works).
However, if you want to adjust with some opacity, you can edit the graphic graphics/background/fade increasing the transparency of the “fade.png”

You are using the alt sidebar match club colour, am I right? If you want to change the colours of the icons you have to change all the xml files in panels/menubar, changing the colour red_replacement="secondary" for the colour you want.
For the text, go to generic/sidebar menu table.xml and change all the colour="secondary" or red_replacement="secondary" for the colour you want.

Yes. Sometimes that happens, when we have a press conference right after a match. I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it. So, it is better to use IR during the match only for matches that are not very important.
