One quick question. To use HD logos (@2x) is just replacing the logos in normal and small folders?

I have a problem, everything is working with logos but not Manchester United there is no logo when I view the league but when I click on Manchester United there is the standard FM base logo can someone help thx ?

It is a typo, but I posted last year (for FM21) and also for FM22. Don't recall if I did for FM20…

 

Last year they didn't respond to me and this year... well it has been almost a month and no reply. 😢 Thus the reason I came here, my frustration or losing my patience being ignored is talking way too loud in my head. It is better a sticking plaster than no plaster at all. 😉

So the city in question is 20018260 - Niagra Falls (NY)  - It should be Niagara Falls.

I read the name Czechia on the Elo Rankings and found it was the short name for Czech Republic, but I agree with your point of view.

 

I will check the case of the misspell name city of the USA, But I will confirm it must later tonight.

:O I'm truly amazed at the amount of work you guys put into this file. Part of me that wants perfection is excited about this.

 

The only note I have is regarding the Czech Republic. I noticed the name is The Czech Republic and the short name is Czech Republic. I would probably lose the “The” in the name and in the short name be Czechia. But I'm totally fine as is. 😀

I wasn't aware that lnc code existed. You live and learn. Since I don't speak German and I want to be absolutely surely what I'm adding is definitely correct, could you be so kind as to send me a private message including this and any other similar entries you deem most important to add?

 

Ideally, I just copy/paste it into the right places, giving you all the credit naturally!

 

 

 

 

 

At least some of them, if not all, are actually already in the file titled Competitions and other Fixes.lnc actually, are you using this fix at all?

 

If there's anything specific that you think should be changed, particularly regarding the proposed American changes, can you submit specific lines where you think the current entries in the file should be changed? Cities missing their local region, however, aren't something which can be amended using this file.

Hi all, Happy New Year.

 

I made a request for SI to correct some names, that have yet to be updated. They (SI or one of their staff), reply they aren't changing the names of those countries since they are using the English names for those countries. Yet, on FIFA World Ranking site, shows that some countries have drastically changed their names and others made a few adjustments to the name.

 

I really thought, that linking to the FIFA World Ranking site, would persuade SI to change the names since it is the highest representative of football across the world, but I guess not.

 

So I thought to raise these issues here and at the least have a debate if this should be corrected with Real Name Fix file.

 

So the countries in question drastically changed names:

- Swaziland should be Eswatini.

- Holland should be the Netherlands

- In the nation of Czech Republic, the short name should be Czechia

- Kyrgyzstan should be Kyrgyz Republic

 

Countries that can be debatable in changing (these are countries that several places use these names, but aren't the official names):

- North Korea should be Korea DPR

- South Korea should be Korea Republic

- East Timor should be Timor-Leste

 

Not to mention, a misspell city and other cities missing the local region information, all within the nation of USA.

 

What do you guys think?

Hi

For the normal logo, the base image is 180x180 px to which I add the "outline" and an empty space to make 200x200 px.
Other designers resize the logos to 180px but the height or width is sometimes below 180px which for me does not look good in the game. So it was decided that no matter how wide or high the original logo was, all will be "square" with this slight space.

For the small it's the same thing. And so taking the logo back to 200 and just resizing it to 20 simplifies a lot. For the small, this also affects the alignment of logos in the championship standings. With logos with different widths or heights, nothing will line up.

For the @ 2x, it is simply the small multiplied by 2 hence the 40x40.

These dimensions have always worked well😉

Why TCM logos are normal logos 200x200, small logos 20x20 and 2x small 40x40, when at sigames forum state 180x180, 25x18 and 50x36, respectively?

Can you make one special request? Can you recreate the SS 2D kits of Nike 892 and Puma 527 in the 3D kits (not your NE Templates, since I want to manipulate the colours)?

I'm making a fantasy USA leagues, I'm not that verse in the 3D kits. So that to make my life bit easier all teams will have the same kit with just a few colors of diferences from team to team, but the base is the same.

The home kits of those teams I will try to adapt some of SS kits to 3D, but those I want to explore the 3D template on my own and learn to use it.

Can you help out?

The recomendation from SI forums is to rename the exe file of Fm18 editor. The issue is that both Fm18 and Fm19 editors have the same exe file.

the same is said for the Mac, which i rename my editor file. Now both work side by side.
