All right. I've broadly tested your mod during last week. Played it in imported save from FM24 (and earlier from FM23).

Assumptions:

  • Players behavior is more realistic, than in original match engine. There's more one-two actions (I haven't changed tactics), scored goals look more like from real life. Also defenders and keepers act more realistic.
  • I've never experienced overall more goals scored vs original engine. My team (Fiorentina) is the best in the world, needles to say - I've won last 10 Italian league titles, also last two Champions League trophies, so most of opponents is beaten fairly easely with rather solid amount of goals scored 😉
  • But when I encountered Bayern, it was a real challenge to beat them, so your mod is well balanced.
  • What I really look for (I don't know, whether it's possible or not) is more realistic behavior of players, staff and refs regarding: match brawls, aggressive reactions to ref by staff on a bench, players arguing with ref or between themselves and receiving yellow and red cards, players gesturing to the crowd, generally - increased chance of unprofessional behaviour by players or staff. Maybe your'e and oldschool player and remember Championship Manager times. If yes - ARSE command should be familiar to you 😉

 

Anyway - great work! Looking forward for next updates, polishing already fantastic mod, changing the game significantly.

Actually it is possible to replace some backgrounds in FM26, using UABEA tool, but AFAIR it's limited for specific competitions (assigned in UABEA) and requires converting JPG background files to PNG. Never tried it, so I cannot confirm, whether it works or not (instruction is on FM Scout site).

Mine has not crashed, but I have another problem - how to load a filter “is newgen search filter” in FM26 in order to create .xml file, required for assigning faces to regen players? I cannot find a specific menu, available in previous FM's…

The same here. Changed destination folder from default to mine in Steam, also edited folder name to Football Manager 26 (as it was adviced in thread) - the difference is, that facepack loaded correctly, but stadium backgrounds doesn't work, also some of logos work, some not…

I've encountered similar problem, but with default skin (all regen faces disappeared after using Newgan). Your instruction helped to solve this, kudos for you and thanks a lot!
