Swans get a win in the cup 3-0 away to Reading[by the sound of it Reading U21s] good to get a win and score a few……several hard games coming up and I would be surprised after the end of the month Swans were not in the bottom half , games this month-

I use the https://www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interactive/2021/jun/07/mens-transfer-window-summer-2021-all-deals-from-europes-top-five-leagues as my source

and the file is up to date eg with 4.5k changes

I usually do my own file/s to cover the summer transfers for the top 5 leagues so the transfers take place when they should as per real life 

eg 

with this update in game-

NB this file is for the transfers to take place in the transfer window/dates they do in real life eg July/august 2021

 so this is not to run alongside other transfer updates as it will cause clashes[Do not use with updates that just transfer the players to the 20/21 squads eg Grealish is at Man City for the 20/21 season, rather than in real life 21 /22 season onwards]  

the file is also created using the original DB as I do not use the 21.4 one[as when I start a save I want to use the original squads as per july 2020] so if you want to use in that version you need to open the file in the editor and save in that DB as shown below.

There are 7.5k of changes to the DB

I have spent many hours trying to add bans at least the workaround works BUT the ban is permanent so not perfect 

remove this line 

this section should be where you add a ‘ban' but it doesnt work tried all options…..and even it it did you cant seem to add end dates so a club would be banned permanently

SI seem to hard code this rule and it cant be edited I have been able to ‘ban’ teams from Europe as explained in FAQs by using a workaround but removing a ban seems something you cannot do in the editor unfortunately 

I have approached SI directly regards this and the answer was it is hard coded I was attempting to develop an edt file similar to the transfer embargo / non registration of players etc but they didnt assist as to what would need to be the exact wording would need to be

I have updated your OP to include this as some users dont seem to know how/where to download your files from feel free to change it if you wish😉

The update/s will be part of the normal Data update click on link below 

 and then use the download  link there[follow the instructions too How to install a Football Manager Data Update] to have all the extra files[its up to you what file/s you use]

Unfortunately the game no longer accepts XML files when starting a new game. So we need to manually create FMF files.

Use the following instructions:

1. Download the XML File
2. Open the Pre Game Editor
3. Click: File > Import and select the downloaded XML file
4. Click: File > Save As and save the file as "sortitoutsi.net Data Update - Changes"
5. Use the form below to Upload the FMF file

was hoping that somehow it was going to be …..oh well fingers crossed for a decent season 

I would say mid table is what I expect this season and with the lack of any real investment and players leaving that would be satisfactory I suppose

@TheMinsterman  has just updated the files a few days ago and will do further updates  at his own pace, if that isn't good enough for you …do it yourself

as Mons says but remember to save the file using export to create a XML file[when ready to transfer file] if you are going to try to use the file in future versions of the game FM22 etc 

you need to open the file in the new editor when it comes out and save it in that version of the DB to get it to load in any future versions and then it can be saved as a fmf file again😉

also be aware that in future versions many of your created ‘wonderkids’ will be added to the DB by SI so you will have duplicated players to look out for and have to remove to stop the clashes
