i have played FM for many years.  2022 is the worst ever.  i just cannot find out how I can manage the team whilst watching the game enfold.  why is this core aspect of the game so difficult to activate?  this is the core of the game - this is why you buy the game.  can anybody guide me how to activate or configure the game to make this happen.  been going through every tab and responsibility - waste of time, effort, and extremely frustrating.  Just cannot understand how the designers of the game do place this function in a way that it stares right in your face.  Talk about poor UX.

 

Appreciate your guidance.  Consider it a Xmas present to me, maybe I can enjoy the game over Xmas.  Many thanks.

At your left vertical menu choose ‘personel’. At the new tab, at the top look for 'responsibilities. There you should set yourself (as the manager of the club) to take control of the speaches & control of the match.

I am not new to FM - though the latest version I had was FM19.  I have loaded FM22, choosing to play Lpool.  I am in the pre-season stage, trying to play friendlies.  The result of the a friendly game is automatically by the computer.  I cannot find how I do the pre-pep talk, talk to the media, and watch the game in 2D so that I can play and manage the game.  I have been in every tab but i cannot find the navigation tabs for a Match day.  I appreciate if somebody responds.  At the moment it is a quite a downer of a game😢
