You'll still get the beta if you buy it next week.

was gutted when I remembered that Madrid v Liverpool was tomorrow and not tonight. Though knowing Liverpool they'll probably play a blinder. Should be a great game though regardless

Who cares? Would adding a few licenses (which would add nothing, whatsoever, in the slightest, to the actual gameplay btw) make it a better game, for the overall outlay?

You're basing how good the match engine is on how good the graphics are? That's like saying Rfactor is rubbish because it doesn't look good. Sounds like FIFA Manager would be right up your street.

Oh and Football Manager under EA? Give me a fucking break.

Considering finding excellent coaches isn't all that hard, wouldn't setting this all the way to to Tactical Manager be more useful since it makes it easier to gain the respect of the players?

At a decent level club, it seems like that'll be the way forward.

Depends on the distribution of attributes and how you use the players. A 135 CA player for example might perform better than a 150 CA player if his attributes are distributed better.

SI games had opportunities to buy the licensing they have been about for a long time they don't want to pay when no matter what they got people like you kissing there a** every year.

EA makes no management game any more cutting a deal with them for PC I don't see that being a issue but again they don't want to same with when licensing deals come to an end they could partner up but no.

Same with graphics they could put a lot more in which wont be because of licensing but again they don't because they are a company that does just enough every year to make out the games different nothing special.

Any excuse why the match engine still stinks after all these years?

I worked for them a while ago and the attitude then I would have to guess is the same today going by what I see do just enough to pass for a release.

You really think EA would share the license? Are you that stupid? It's way too expensive for SI to even compete with EA for them.

The match engine is rather brilliant. Is there any football simulation that is within a 100 miles of SI's match engine?

Having issues on mine, I complete the game and as it loads back to the menu and brings up the other scores my game just freezes and shuts itself down to the xbone menu! any ideas?

EDIT: Fixed now, started the season with a 2-1 win over Southampton, a 1-0 defeat against City then a 2-0 victory over Villa.

And typically when the transfer window shut, I lost Balotelli for four weeks to injury! Meaning I have Sturridge, Lambert and Yesil as strikers now

I generally play with 2 strikers so having 4 decent strikers is needed, and Aspas and Origi are better than Lambert and Borini imo.

Got bored of Ultimate Team for the time being, so switched to start my first career on FIFA15. Decided to be Liverpool for obvious reasons, does anyone turn European Competition on first season? I didn't last year but have done this year, just randomised the group but made sure the top teams that are in it in real life are in it this year.

Going to start it on World Class with 5 minutes each way.

Recall Aspas, Origi and potentially Assaidi. Yeah I put the EC on, but then seeded it so the groups looked even.

Just beat someone 10-0 online. Has to be the worst player I've ever played against. He had a GK, I put my player in front of his defender, he waited about 10 seconds then passed it to my striker \o/
