At least Probert was equally bad for both teams,

'Cos that makes it better.

Haven't seen anything from yesterday?

The Fellaini handball, the Nastasic foul that should have been a penalty, the incorrectly (though understandably) ruled-out Everton goal.

Probert had a shocker basically.

Maybe only eclipsed by the Sunderland one in the game before.

Not a good day for referees...

Not a good weekend for referees.

It was Chris Foy. This shouldn't surprise anyone, he's a terrible referee.

Sunderland's home fans have to be some of the worst in the country.

It's a bit of an odd one. I suspect it's just a way of rationalising the fact that no matter how good a team we have, you always seem to rise to the occasion and do us, despite having a comparatively weaker side.

Personally, I just think Moyes has Mancini's number.

It's never a great place to go after a defeat. Especially after a defeat when we play that badly.

Yeah, it increased his release clause to €35m. I'd be pretty surprised if he signs for you lot, especially with City and Chelsea being linked to him for ages.

i was surprised Man City can't beat Everton with 10 men!

Just as in Europe, we are a totally different team when we play at Goodison.

Unfortunately, as in Europe, that side happens to be absolute dog shite, that struggles with the basics.

Really wanted City to win purely to keep the league a little interesting, but after this performance they really don't deserve to be anywhere near the trophy.

We've fucked this season up in almost every way.

Fucking disgraceful performance.

Done with Mancini too. All the same mistakes, all the same failed solutions.

Congrats to Everton and United.

Fucking great tackle by Fellaini.

Absolute bollocks that he got booked.

Was it fuck, he was late and barely got the ball. Always a yellow.

Kevin Mirallas has had a goal ruled out for offside. A very close decision.

He's been benched...

He'll still score. He's on a stupidly long goal-drought and it's Everton-City, it's just how it works.

City: Hart, Zabaleta (c), Kolo Toure, Nastasic, Milner, Garcia, Barry, Kolarov, Silva, Tevez, Dzeko.

We're fucked. No Yaya and Kolarov's playing.

Goal-keeper, centre-back, defensive midfielder and a striker.

Those would be the priorities for me, though there is room for improvement elsewhere.

I suppose, but that's making the assumption that Torres is worth more than £12m.

No, I was thinking they pay Atléti the full release-clause but as part of that, they are obliged to 'accept' Torres.

His release clause is 'only' £52m. That would be going slightly overboard.

Atléti having to take Torres wouldn't be the worst idea though

He was almost a Lazio player in the summer but we tried to drag the price down too far because the chairman wasn't convinced he could make the step up to Serie A...

Lotito's an idiot. Gala got a Michu-esque bargain.
