Not really, they a) shouldn't have won on Sunday, and b) will have a player available for the relegation run-in that shouldn't have been.

It's not true because:
a.) It's not their fault the FA have failed to punish them.
b.) it wasn't cheating - it was a bad foul, not match-fixing.
c.) even if he scores the winning goal in every remaining Wigan game, you can't definitively say he is the reason they stayed/will stay up.
