Wilkinson's easily the dirtiest bastard Stoke have got. Huth and Shawcross tend to most of the attention but they have an inkling of ability. Wilkinson's doesn't even have that.

I'd have loved him at Arsenal, but that's not the point. I just find it incredible that a club like QPR are acting so aggressively in the market, which in my eyes is pretty reckless when you look at how relegation can ruin clubs that overspend (i.e. Portsmouth). QPR seems to be taking it to a next level, and if they do go down, 'Arry can walk away claiming they were already relegated before he came in and that he can't be held accountable for the coming shitstorm.

Big difference between QPR and Portsmouth, though. Portsmouth spent borrowed money they couldn't afford to pay back, QPR are spending Tony Fernandes' money. It's stupid but, assuming he doesn't pull a fast one and leave them in the lurch, it isn't anywhere near as dangerous as Portsmouth's spree. Also, there is the cash-cow of the new TV rights deal on the horizon.

As for Umbro/Nike changeover, don't expect too much change. Anything that is "Tailored by Umbro" has actually come out of the nike factories, i.e. all of the England kit and I believe City kit too. Hopefully Nike hold onto that quality as it's my bloody work kit and I like it at the minute

Yeah it's made by Nike but they were designed by Umbro.
