Even KM isn't that bad.

Didnt the BNP win their only seat in Bury? Or formed in Bury. Something like that.

Bury isn't Burnley.

It's funny how you want to be off work when you're at work and want to be at work when you're off sick.

What have you done now?

Pardew on translator Jean-Paul Ndoumin, who ended up celebrating on the field at full time:

"When we ran through points I needed to make (in the team talk) he was really good. I think he's better than me; maybe I should retire. Afterwards he asked: 'Do you want me to do the post-match interviews?' and I said: 'No, that's my job.'

"I did actually ask the French boys if he was taking the piss at times because I saw a couple of them laughing at his translations. I don't know if he's expressing a bit more than what I'm saying but it seems to be working. We like him."

\o/

Apparently he's been fined by the FA for running onto the pitch but I can't find confirmation? If so very sad.

I love the idea of the translator taking the piss out of Pardew whilst he's doing translating the instructions.

Mbiwa.

I rate Taylor but he's too injury prone - he's prone to a ridiculous error at times too.

I can't believe you got him for £6.7m. I can't decide which was more of a bargain: Cabaye, Sissoko or Yanga-Mbiwa?

Even so, that's Ligue 1. Chamakh looked good in Ligue 1.

Chamakh wasn't even good in Ligue 1

In his best season he scored 13 in 34 league games. He was average there, he's below-average here.

I'd a tad confused about Samba's wages - Fernandes said he was earning closer to £65k p/w, which is around £33k p/w after tax, but I read an article a few days ago that suggested he was on £147k p/w after tax at Anzhi. Someone's figures must be wrong, as I can't imagine him taking a wage cut from £147k p/w to £33k p/w after tax.

Bosingwa's on £65k p/w so it might be true. £147k p/w after taxes sounds too much for Samba, even for Anzhi.

Are the Mittal's still involved? I thought they'd left along with the F1 guys.

Yeah, they're still around.

Daniel Agger's too good for Skrtel. He needs a better partner.

Yeah, you did us a favour with Nasri and Adebayor - two hugely dislikeable characters with big egos who seemed to have peaked whilst they were with us. Nasri could get better, as he's still young, but I'll be surprised if he ever shows the kind of form he hit for us during 2010/11.

That's the worst part with Nasri. I can take a bad transfer, you know somebody who just isn't all that (Santa Cruz, for example) but Nasri has the talent to be one of the best around but instead he's content to just keep things ticking over, making the neat sideways passes - generally taking the easy option - rather than trying to make something happen and run at defenders (as he did for Arsenal in that 3-month spell of amazing form).

The few games he's actually done that (Newcastle and Norwich) he's looked brilliant.

Personally I'm hoping PSG come in for him, the downside to that being that he's a Marseille fan.

I still can't believe we got £24m from you for Nasri.

He angers me. It angers me even more that Mata and Cazorla were available at the same time and would have cost less.

Honestly, for all the players we've bought from Arsenal, we should really be angrier than you lot, only Clichy has actually been worth it (£7m - bargain!) you've robbed us for the rest. On the bright-side, rumour is he's being sold in the summer \o/

Yeah, if we don't win anything this year, he probably will. We (as a club) have fucked this season up. We wasted a great opportunity to consolidate our position in the summer and and a host of players have failed to perform as well as they can - Nasri being the most obvious example.

No, Bertrand's shit. It doesn't matter what position he's playing in, he's not very good at football. The drop in quality at left-back when Ashley Cole leaves/retires is going to be enormous.
