Some shameless plugging here but two of my best mates' band has released their first single. They won the rebel playlist on BBC six music with 91% of the vote and this song has now gone onto the Radio 1 playlist as one of the 'In new music we trust' tracks. It was even on the Wimbledon coverage the other day but yeah check it out.

Also this is the b-side to that single

Rummenigge has confirmed Schweinsteiger is joining us.

Wow I really never thought it would. Exactly what we need and should get at least 3 good seasons out of him, great signing. Though I wouldn't mind us still going for Schneiderlin as a longer term option.

Yeah all my hype went when that match was called off. I like McGregor though and can see him winning easily too, which is great as i'd hate for him to lose and then Aldo potentially not bothering with him after. I still wanna see that fight. Pumped for 190 too.

Yeah him, Smalling, Evans and Rafael have been awful for it. Even Rojo and Shaw were out for a bunch of last season. Feels like Evra is the only defender we've had in the last few years that has been able to stay fit

There's still time for him, especially as a defender. Still easily got 10+ years and on his day he is very very good. Unfortunately he seems to be as inconsistent as Evans has always been and that is a huge problem. Definitely heading the way of O'Shea as things stand, though admittedly more talented.

BBC reporters on Twitter confirming the £28.6M bid too.

He's a bit of a dick, but a character, and we need one of those - especially in defence.

He is fantastic, and EXACTLY what we need back there. Pretty sure it will never ever happen though.

Happy enough with that. Don't think we NEED any more midfield signings now. Carrick should be good for another year and with Fellaini and Herrera in there too that should be enough. Though if a world class player comes available I obviously wouldn't be against going for them. Getting the best out of Di Maria, Mata, Januzaj, Depay and the other attacking midfielders is the main thing. Our attacking play was so sluggish and devoid of creativity for the majority of last year.

I was hoping we'd be looking at Clyne but his deal for Liverpool looks pretty much done which is disappointing. We were apparently looking at Firmino as well though I don't really know anything about him outside of FM.

Schneiderlin would be a decent signing for us, the price seems a bit steep but then again the price for everyone is seemingly a bit steep now. Still crying out for a right back, centre backs and a striker - and not Harry Kane please.

A pretty shit E3 for Microsoft, in all honesty.

Something that should have been done almost two years ago being their biggest announcement.

Nah Tomb Raider and Forza also looked class. Preview programme could be decent if implemented properly. Either way it was arguablly better than Sony's whose 3 big announcements were a HD remake, a kickstarter project and a game that still looks and plays like a PS3 title.

Doubt it.

Spurs will want a stupid amount of money for someone who's had 6-7 good months. If he does it again next year, sure, but we'll wait it out I think.

Anyway, don't think RVP will leave and will play back up to Rooney with Hernandez and Wilson.

Yeah if we pay the reported £40m for Kane after a good 3/4 of a season that would be utterly stupid. I'd love Hernandez to come back whilst Wilson gains more experience. Guaranteed 10-15 goals if used often enough. Only other striker i've seen us linked with is Benzema, but that seems to have happened every year since he broke through at Lyon
