So having your foot chest height and studs showing is now seen as not being an obvious risk to injury?

Not when he clearly had no idea there was another player there, you see people raising feet very high to try and control the ball all the time

I think the majority of us have been perfectly reasonable in what we have said tbh. I just think its sad you feel the need to goad people, it's must feel nice knowing that your club will never be involved in a game as important as this for quite a while so you don't have to suffer through it too

Very unlucky for Nani, feel very sorry for him. I think red cards like that on the Continent aren't that rare though.

But Manchester United are unbelievable, they really need to learn how to take a decision. I've never seen so many players and staff go into the referee's face and point like that. You can't buy class etc.

I'm 99.9% sure any team, if they had that happen, would have done exactly the same. In a game as big as this every decision is going to be scrutinised, nevermind one as bad as that.

He had his hand above his head and saved the ball on the line...

He was like a foot or less away from the ball when it was headed, it was in no way deliberate. In my mind none of them were penalties. The closest thing to a penalty would have been Ramos at the end, but even that wouldve been soft

unfortunately we dont have a better option, any RB is gonna struggle against Ronaldo obv, but you need someone with at least some experience and someone with an intelligent defensive brain, and Rafael, Smalling and Jones are not up to that yet, although ideally i probably wouldve played Smalling, just for the added physical presence, Rafael will just bounce off Ronaldo
