Can't really see what the point of it is. I always have an infinite list of things to read.

It's fab.
Heard that even non Bristol City fans find it a great read.
A man that managed 647 games 351 goals for City. 6 games and 5 goals for England.
Turned down moves to Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and AC Milan to stay part time. England selectors over-looked him due to this status.
Scored the goal that enabled England to go to Sweden 1958, but he wasn't taken with the squad.

Are the A Game of Thrones books good? Finally got around to watching the TV programme. And just wondering if they're worth a read, I've never read any sort of fantasy books before.

It's a shame there aren't similar versions for different countries.

The Game of Thrones books are well worth reading! The serious is a good adaption of the books but like with a lot of things I think the books are better.

While it was great to see Sick Boy's delusions of grandeur come crashing down on him, Porno really wasn't nearly as good as Trainspotting.
I'm liking Football Against the Enemy, only a few chapters in thus far but the chapters about the former Soviet Union were absolutely fascinating.
There's Tor!, though that isn't really as thorough. There's also some book about Spanish football but I can't remember the title of it.

Read both of those recently. Thought the post-Soviet chapters were the most interesting. Seems absolutely amazing that there is a chapter criticising Bobby Robson. That I felt was the biggest change since 1994.

A church minister is approached by a newly released prisoner who confesses to the murder of a high school cheerleader nine years ago, which somebody else is scheduled to be executed in Texas for in just a few days, they must now halt the execution somehow.
The book is nothing but anti death penalty propoganda but it is incredibly tense and difficult to put down.

Not strictly a bad thing really... I think propoganda (sic.) in this case carries negative connotations that aren't justified.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favour of the death penalty at all, I suppose here in Britain it makes little difference if you are in favour or not as this unashamedly anti-executions book is not applicable and your free to enjoy the novel. However in a country that still continues with capital punishment, In particular the USA, it may come across as Grisham, a famous left wing author once again making his views on the subject made, as he has in several of his other books.
