Antonio has been great this season when I have seen him!

Usually when played at Right-Back he has been diabolical, but has always looked tidy when played further forward yeah, bags of energy and a good finish on him.

Sums our season up this. No wonder us and the City fans are competing as to who is the more fed up.

The double combination of losing the keeper and having to put Nicky Butt in goal for a game against another top team must've been great, no?

And yeowzer that's an injury haha. I'm liking the retro gameplay though.

I must admit it did tickle me a little bit to be honest. But I've gotta give the other teams hope right?

He's probably just trolling, but either way its probably silly money and Mayweather won't hurt him. Easy pay day for him, even if he would lose a boxing match.

The proper Ronaldo! although I do love the fact you lost 7-0 at St. James' Park although I shouldn't 'brag' considering the circumstances of losing your first choice goalkeeper Schmeichel to a broken pelvis, an injury in any CM/FM game I've never seen before.

A solid but not spectacular start to this season. We really haven't played very well at all but have still been managing to grind out positive results. We were top until that last game where we were spanked by Newcastle. A bit of context for that result - Schmeichel went off injured after 10 mins and I don't play a keeper on the bench so Nicky Butt had to go in goal. Our defence has been solid yet again this season (with the exception of that 1 result). I really need to get us attacking better though, the goals have just flowing as much as usual, probably no coincidence that Bakayoko has been out injured pretty much the whole time, Ronaldo also hasn't settled as well as I'd like.

In fact the frustration of not being able to get many players in is made even more annoying by the fact that I have been getting injuries constantly this season (probably to make up for how few I had last season) and its wrecking my small squad.

As if that Newcastle game wasn't bad enough...

Players Out so far - Brown continues to develop out on loan, Clegg could go now I have Reuter in. Notman I let go as it was a decent enough bid and he was probably the worst of my young strikers. Nevland will get a season to impress on loan otherwise he will go too. Solskjaer regrettably leaves for Blackburn but it was a good price. Sheringham has also been listed and that will probably be that for players out.

I hear you though... I hear you saying "Why the hell would you let 3 young and very talented strikers leave Sam... why... oh why!?"

West Ham let Rio's contract expire so I nipped in. Like I said his stats haven't generated anywhere near as good as they usually do but theres some decent foundations there. If he grows into a star then great... if not then its not much of a loss as he only cost me 700k

Thanks guys - Yeah I have been chasing Rio since the first season. He hasn't generated with as good stats as he ususally does but he's still a good prospect. As for Solskjaer I will always love him but he was always either injured or not scoring so it had to be done. He'll probs be a world beater now i've let him go

Don't be too disheartened about losing the Champions League final to Barcelona because you still had a reasonably good season considering with a domestic double so congrats on that. Yeah the priorities for transfers will be at Full Back where we need better cover with Irwin coming up 33 and Michael Clegg being nowhere near good enough. A CB would be nice too as Wes Brown isn't ready and Henning Berg could definitely be improved upon. Finally I will also be looking for another CM to bolster the numbers. Ideally Niclas Alexandersson for his versatility.

I'll also be looking to offload a striker or two. Probably Solskjaer (as much as I love him I barely used him) and Sheringham (age more than anything as he was great this season). The two youngsters Notman and Nevland will probably be loaned out again which will leave me with Bakayoko, Cole, Henry and Scholes. Obviously if any of my faves from this era become available I might be tempted.

Other than that I'll be sitting back and enjoying the France 98 World Cup

When Bakayoko who fought back from injury to make the bench came on and equalised in the last minute I thought it was written in the stars, I was having dreams of the Nou Camp in 99... This hurts.

Really though I was genuinely not expecting to get this far in my first season so I am immensley happy, proud etc despite falling at the final hurdle. I know now it can be done... and my team is not far off at all.

Bakayoko and Cole ended with decent hauls. Particularly when you take into account they both were injured sections of the season and were heavily rotated with my other strikers. Cole's performances have spared him being sold in the summer.

That Chelsea strikforce though... also an 18 year old Michael Owen with a great season, Might be a future purchase

League season is over. Won it at a canter in the end really. Form was poor towards the end but that was mainly due to resting my best players for the cup and Europe.
