Wimbledon came down with the Christmas decorations and quickly fell away. Whilst we have gone completely unbeaten since the last update, until the Monaco game anyway. 8 Wins and 2 Draws in the league has seen us open up a healthy 7 point lead over Chelsea with a game in hand. The defence continues to be pretty solid and Bakayoko and Cole in particular have been scoring a lot of big goals. Can I achieve a treble a year before Fergie managed it?... My next few games are massive

Two of the players I had my eye on Neset and Lampard have both been signed by other clubs. I wanted them but felt I had to stick to my no more signings statement. Neset went to Sampdoria and Lampard to Leeds. I may get them one day...

Elsewhere Blackburn have just spent big on Dwight Yorke, Robert Pires went to Juve and Andriy Shevchenko has just joined Coventry!

The last 10 games haven't quite gone as smoothly. Surprise package Wimbledon with a healthy-ish lead.

Too many silly draws and a very poor patch of form in November that just happened to coincide with injuries to Bakayoko and Laudrup. Also crashed out of the League Cup to Newcastle.

Positives - only 5 behind, still only lost 1 league game and only 2 in all comps and Bakayoko and Laudrup are coming back from injury. Plus our defensive record is insane, only 6 goals conceded in the league. Solid

Absolutely nightmare draw against probably the best team around at this moment in time. Some tasty ties elsewhere too Barca v Bayern obviously but also Monaco v Parma, two very young, talented and exciting sides.

This guy is really grabbing my interest. Scoring like fun for the Norwegian national team and those stats look great. Really cheap as well... could get him for around £2m. I'll hold off for now though until I decide who I'm selling. A young Lampard is also catching my eye, great stats but West Ham don't wanna sell.

It's amazing how the Sky commentators are making me hope that Leicester fuck up the title.

Embarrassing bias. Understandable that it's an amazing story if Leicester win it, but still it's pretty awful.

I still really want Leicester to win it... but obviously not today. I know what you mean though the commentary is verging on unbearable. The Mahrez/Rojo thing for me really didnt seem like a pen but they were acting like Leicester were plain robbed
