@bakizp  @Zangor the active logo is of a statistics organization for football, it's not a competition logo and should be removed, as it's unrelated to the aga khan cup.

@Qvordrup  the active logo is incorrect and has nothing to do with the tournament. there is no classical pictorial logo for this competition, only wordmarks.

now it makes sense to me - in your previous post you only mentioned bosnia-herzegovina and bosnia respectively, not germany, which is why i asked.

@Footygamer no worries -- i pick up the technical details about the database as i comb through it. 😁 i don’t consider this a priority case, either.

the reason i asked was because i thought this option is easier than adding missing people to the database, or requesting such. there was an issue over at si where i couldn’t post in the db troubleshooting section for reasons unknown, the rest of the forum and posting works fine, which is why i hang out here mostly and comment whenever i find something.

this actually happens quite frequently, he was just the first active one i bumped into.

the other option is to ask si to include him in a future database in his current role? haven't checked the players/staff yet, but the officials db is outdated for a number of countries that i had a look at so far, albania being one of them.

what footygamer means is if the club is included in the game database with a unique id. a listing on another website like transfermarkt won’t help much.

@Footygamer  is it possible to add certain categories that can be selected as search filters?

for example, say i wanted to lookup all the ids of officials/referees from kazakhstan.

would adding a dropdown menu where you can select the role (player, nonplayer, official) and nation of an individual or group of people you want to look up be feasible or would it be too much work / slow down the the search significantly? thanks in any case 👍🏿

i mean specifically only the categories and roles above, no position on the field or contract details.

i had mentioned in the pdf thread that this would unearth the search results for people who are free agents / without a contract in the db.

yeah, it's my legal background, hard to shake that one off - providing reasons or verifiable sources is a routine.

team 932 should be updated (and its second team) in the database - they are kickers offenbach (full name offenbacher fc kickers 1901), but kickers is not included as their name, only offenbach (see their logo, too).
