The .lnc files in “lnc/all” you can just open in notepad and see what they do. Some only change stuff in other languages but others clearly do fake name stuff. As for the .dbc files are harder to figure out though

Yeah, isn't it still the same file name? The latest one is the only one you need for Intercontinental Cup, running both might just confuse the game

It's the same file, just updated. But yeah only run one of my Intercontinental Cup files. I'm adjusting it now too since they announced the actual Qatari stadiums and kickoff times, will re-upload over it again in a few mins

I think I've got the trophies added with “stage actions” now, but yeah I think I did have it like that with the competitions specified too at one point, can't remember why I changed it. Will do some more testing this weekend

Thinking on @Anben10's comments a bit further, do people actually prefer the separate “cups” (Derby of the Americas, Intercontinental Cup etc) as separate competitions? It would be a bit hectic with them all being set up/drawn in quick succession but should work, even if the European champion will suddenly be notified that they're participating in the Intercontinental Cup “final”, like, 3 days before it happens. That would allow the different competition colours too. I like the current setup where I have them all under the Int. Cup banner but with the stages handing out trophies like IRL, but open to feedback

Updating the file so that San Diego join in 2024 and get the expansion draft in December 2023, although you can't add yourself as their manager until Jan. 1, 2024 so you have to leave the expansion draft to the AI. This way you can click the box to stop the first transfer window at game start, which I always use in North America as it delays the AI coaches from messing up their roster compliance for at least a few more months

Hmm yeah maybe I could use a similar mechanism to have it add an entry for the Club World Cup history despite that remaining active as a separate tournament. Even though this would mean you'd have like two winners in 2025

Each stage has its own records? I did set it up as different stages so that you can “win” the Challenger Cup etc (looks like they are unique trophies in real life) but it's at the expense of the bracket and all the other benefits from keeping it as one stage 

Oh damn I changed it so the draw would show before the teams were known but didn't test far enough ahead clearly, thanks for letting me know. Will revert to an older one while I figure out what happened

I think it's more of a common courtesy in the modding community here than any issue of mine, but yes, please don't throw my files and graphics into your pack, you can always include a link to them (they're here on SortitoutSI already) with instructions for people to use it if you want, then they can discern any compatibility issues that way too

FYI to others - I wouldn't recommend using the Leagues Cup file he's posted, there's a chance each season it will brick the whole season unless it's used in unison with my files, there are some changes in both that rely on each other

Yeah, you can't just repost my Leagues Cup file, and definitely not without credit. I mean, you haven't even attempted to disguise it, lol, other than adding 003 to the filename?

And if you've stolen my trophy pack and anything else in the graphics, please don't? You haven't given credit there either, or just direct people to mine. That took ages to crop out some of the weird looking ones, lol, as you'll know.

But otherwise lots of impressive work, especially with the Sycuan stuff. We should be collaborating, not ripping each other off!

It would be a lot of work for sure, I might consider releasing a version like that at some point. My next big project might be switching MLS to a fall/spring season first though

Double check they aren't kicking teams out of World Cup/confederation championship qualifying btw, I think some tournaments just grab teams by getting the best teams from a continent with “world governing body member” checked (might be too many now)

There's no need, you don't need to start a new game or anything. If I notice something like a team moving to a new stadium, San Diego signing people, a competition's rules being announced, etc, I'll add it. Just general QOL updates when I'm bored at my computer. 

I figure people will be starting a few new games between now and March 2025 so might as well keep it up to date

Actually I can see they still have $0 GAM if you start in Feb '23. You can still trade picks etc. Will see if I can give them a transfer budget too

The first window transfer ban might be causing it - normally it's good for MLS but since SD need players it might be better to allow that window

Working fine for me - can you describe your setup in terms of start date, any unrelated transfer files etc you're running? Wonder if there's another DB that's causing a conflict

Oh sh*t, for real? Have you checked the box to not allow the first transfer window? And started in early 2023 obviously? It was working when I tested it, but might need another look

It's flexible and can be used with or without the extra team! So with or without my expansion. In that case it would just help with some of the hosting and prize money to make it more realistic. Thanks for checking in

Added San Diego FC from the first season (6 players signed so far, so a chance to mostly build your own team with MLS' transfer rules). 

Get the graphics again, or at least the San Diego FC folder in there, along with my Leagues Cup file (backup) which can accommodate the extra spot (see screenshot)

Why 2024? Won't the big teams be drained by Euro/Copa America call-ups?

Actually the last update made it impossible to verify this IIRC, maybe they somehow added that change too but either way not sure I can fix it

WTF, I have no memory of that, lol, no idea why that's there. Will take a look and remove it. BUT isn't this file no longer necessary, I swear they dealt with the fitness/CWC bug in the official patch in April? Let me know if not. Also have a smaller 16-team CWC at the SI Games forum, that uses the correct 2025 stadiums and prize money. Thanks for flagging this @Footygamer
