#816072 FM24 English Lower Leagues Database
michelob9
Thank you š
Yeah that was my thinking for keeping the file names as the club name rather than the UID - then at least itās just a remapping job, not a ārenaming a load of image filesā job š¬
#816060 FM24 English Lower Leagues Database
michelob9
Iāve started a L16 save - Herts Senior County League Div 5.
DONE:
lāve compiled all the missing badges and grounds for those six leagues, plus the three Spartan leagues plus kits for the two Isthmian leagues. Iāve run Photoshop to resize them all to the right dimensions.
(Iām not doing kits because it would be so much work to source the right home and away designs then build each kit. Would love to know if there was a repository anywhereā¦)
TO DO:
Next thing is to map each asset to its UID. Iām doing this by using the Sas skin and cutting and pasting each UID for each club badge and ground into an Excel document.
Then I was going to create 3x badge folders (1 for Herts leagues, 1 for Spartan leagues, 1 for Isthmian leagues) with subfolders for logo and icons, and 3x ground folders (ditto, with subfolders for backgrounds and insides).
My thinking with the file naming was to keep it as the club name rather than the UID because I think Iāve read that the UID numbers can change from save to save (O think Iāve understood that correctly.)
This also allows me to reuse the same asset for multiple badges (first team, reserves, U21 etc etc)
Finally I will use Excel to build a formula to get the right code for the config text file.
Phew.
So I guess my question isā¦
HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING OR IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO DO IT? š
Thank you in advance!
#815625 Looking to perfect my lower league experience - can you help?
michelob9
Morning all. Kicked off a Level 15 save in the Hertfordshire Senior County League Division 5 over the weekend.
I've got the basics sorted:
- Dan's England Leagues to Level 20 (fantastic database)
- Have also added in the lower leagues for Wales, Scotland and NI (currently view-only) so I can potentially scout players from those leagues once Iāve climbed the ladder a few rungs! (Post-Brexit rules means thereās no point having leagues outside the UK)
- FMtweaks Lower League engine (enjoying it so far!)
- Added in a kit for my team.
- Authentic kits from FM Slovakia for some of the loftier lower leagues.
- Added in the right competition logos.
- Added the authentic club badges for my league.
- Bedding in a couple of proper old school long ball tactics that make Dave Bassett and John Beck look like Rinus Michels.
What Iām definitely missing:
- Authentic lower league atmosphere. Iām on Mac so can't use the FM Sounds lower leagues pack, which is a shame (I think it may clash with the FM Tweaks simatch file in any case) Would love any suggestions for alternatives that might work!
- Authentic kits for my leagues. It felt like such a lot of work so that is the limit of my drive for authenticity.
- Ramshackle ground. My stadium is more League 2 than Level 15 so would love any tips on how I could get closer to that āone small stand and some men and their dogs leaning on a railā look. I think some stuff is possible via the pre-game editorā¦
- A more chewed up, muddier pitch (preferably without an authentic dog š© near the corner flag lol)
- A lower league āstadiumā photos pack.
Really appreciate any tips on the above, or any other recommendations for mods, tweaks or add-ons that could add to the experience.
Thanks in advance!

#724540 Adding in create-a-club manager photo
michelob9
I've created 250x250px and 25x18px face pictures for my Create-a-club manager.
Anyone know how I could add them into the game?
Thanks in advance!
#724539 Create-a-club home kit not displaying correctly - can I edit it?
michelob9
Hi there. I hope you can help.
I'm playing FM Touch 23 via Apple Arcade on my Mac and iPad.
I've created my club and have been playing for about a season and a half.
I used the in-game editor to make a red/white halves home kit to match my badge (first pic).
However, a few days ago, for some reason, the home kit changed to an all-blue kit (second pic).
Please can anyone suggest how to fix it? (Can it be done in the āproperā game?)
Many thanks!

You mean you could just drop kits, logos, etc in top level folders. Ohhh, that's much better. Thank you.
I'll keep trying with the real names, will update you if I get any joy. And cheers again.

I've managed to get most things working on iPad. You have to reinstall the game (my saves are on iCloud - you might want to make back-up saves of your current games on the cloud first) then go to the FM Touch folder on your iPad via Finder and drop in your images folder containing kits, logos, etc.
These are the folders in my FM Touch folder. I have NO idea which ones work, other than the Pictures one. The Pictures folder has sub-folders for kits, logos, competitions, faces, which all work. (I thought I'd fixed club names on iPad but perhaps I didn't - I've just checked and they're not correct.)
I am syncing via a Mac - not sure how it works on PC)
Hope that helps! (And if anyone can advise on correcting club names, that would be awesome.)

Hiya. The instructions here are for the FMT23 app on Apple Arcade running on an Apple Mac.
I've also got most of the tweaks working on iPad / iPhone. The files are the same but the process is different. Are you looking to get it working on iPad / iPhone?

Yes, I've got it working on FMT23 on Apple Arcade on Mac. Here are screenshots from my 2300 folder and from my editor_data folder. I started with the files and instructions from Sortitoutsi ("FM2023 Sortitoutsi Licensing and Real Name Fix File v2.0") which corrected almost, but not quite, everything (Manchester United was still "Man UFC" and Napoli was "Parthenope" for example). I then dropped the FM Scout "fm23-real-names-fix-v221213" into the lnc folder and that seems to have corrected the last few things. [The only incorrect thing I've spotted is that Thomas Tuchel rather than Hansi Flick is coach of the German team š¤]

@Yuto Nagatomo - hey chap, would it be possible to share the logos, kits and facepacks for FMT23? Thank you!
