It's newsworthy because Daley made it newsworthy. Let's be clear he announced publicly that he was seeing a man. .He's a public figure and that is just the same as Victoria Beckham's publicist emailing news agencies a press release announcing the next spring collection in her fashion line. It's news today and tomorrow but after that the only people who care will be gossip magazines and the people who care about that thing. Trying to whip this into a frenzy of anti-media hatred is pushing way too far into the other direction, he's being bummed by a man, he wanted to tell people... move on.

Get a better bank. Pretty sure you could just go into a Bureau de Change in Belgium and get money off your card with the normal exchange rate (probably better than Travelex)

A bit late, but this nigga has it down to a T. Travelex (who some of you may recognise as that Bureau de Change from Airports) has, by and large, the worst exchange rate of any company out there. They exist purely as a method for the unwashed masses to lose money to.

If you're looking to get value for money: bank with no withdrawal fees (I use Metro Bank for all foreign purchasing) => Pre-paid currency card => Price comparison on the best rate available (typically a good company like Forex who specialise) => Throwing your money at a wall and seeing what bounces back into your hand => Travelex.

Music I've never downloaded because I always used to use Youtube and now I use Spotify. I use torrents for films because buying DVDs is pointless and most of the time I watch them before they are released here. I do go to the cinema, but nowhere near as much as I used to.

PC games are different, I torrent some, but buy others, which ones I do depends on the game. I very rarely buy new PC games because I don't have a gaming PC, so I tend to only play older games. If they're available on GOG I'll buy them, otherwise I pirate. I'll go through spurts of pirating seven games, playing them once and never playing them again. However if I pirate a game and like it I will never buy it, people who say they do that are far too common for me to believe.

You can't play any media at all at the moment except for DVD's/BluRay, unless it's obtained from the Sony Martketplace yoke. Can't plug in a USB, can't stream over network, can't even put in a CD

I don't see that as an issue at all, at least not for. Any media I want to watch I just HDMI it from laptop to TV. I'm surprised you consider that a dealbreaker.

It took a long time for me to get good at it. Before 2K13 the last NBA game I had was NBA Live 2002 on PC. The tutorials are really good, but going online and playing people when you're new is rough, because you just get hammered. I cheated a little and bought my friend a copy so we could be shit together and get better. I also played a metric fuck ton of Association (which has been upgraded to MyGM, which is looking amazing http://www.operationsports.com/features/1726/nba-2k14-mygm-developer-diary/ ) and MyPlayer (which is just a ridiculously better version of Be A Pro). My online record went from 3-45, at one point, to 59-66 where it is now.

I know it sounds like I'm pushing this hard, but it's just a ridiculous game package. I normally don't care too much about graphics, but the thing is fucking gorgeous. I mean they literally thought of everything and then decided to put it in the game. I mean for fuck's sake, they mo-capped Kent Bazemore's bench reactions:

I'll get FIFA at some point, because... you know, it;s FIFA. But my top two games to get are NBA 2K and Assassin's Creed, in that order.

I thought it was okay. It looked great and was well filmed, the story itself is a bit bollocks and requires leaps of faith that aren't earned. But the acting is good for what they were given to work with. Choi Min-sik is about as legit as it comes in terms of acting and I'm excited to see him in speaking English in Lucy. He deserves international recognition because he makes any role look good.

Which did you like the most? Had my eye on one or two of those.

The Chaser and Memoreis of Murder are simply stunning. Very Korean in their themes, but stunningly made and acted. The Chaser in particular is just a remarkable piece of work, intense and expertly directed. I'm going to give Mother a watch tonight, which has very good reviews too.

No promoter is paying Lennox Lewis even $10m of that money. B-Hop is almost that old, is an okay fighter, and he can't get anywhere near that cash. Add on top of that no fan wants to heavyweights any more because the entire division is trash and you're just left with either the punch-drunk ramblings of a former champion or something being taken out of context. Either way, never going to happen.

Watched Trance. I know some people don't like how complex it gets towards the end, but I really enjoyed the film. There are a few really interesting ways of looking at it. If you haven't seen it then give it a watch and let me know.

I can see why people who see it for what is told, i.e. that Dawson told him to steal the painting, requires such a ridiculous leap of faith. But there are other explanations, like how there is no Simon. Or that the entire thing is still hypnosis because the iPad at the end is the exact replica of the device she uses to help patients under trance, and that when he goes into the water it is night, yet when he comes up it is awake, married with the bath/pool scene. one even more obscure one is that the entire thing is an exercise for her to overcome her problems and that Simon and Frank are the same person.

I adore mystery films and I thought this was a very good one that treads some interesting ground..It's not perfect, not by a long shot, but it's a very interesting film and I thought it was good.
