I love Suarez. He's good at what he does, knows what he likes and doesn't care what other people think.

I watched Inglourious Basterds again a couple of nights ago and on second viewing that is an even better film. Modern classic as far as I'm concerned.

LOVED Django, didnt think it was too long either.

It being too long is my fault. I can barely concentrate for an hour if I'm at home watching something.

Maybe, I don't think so though.

Mostly for the reasons Franck listed. I don't see Fergie retiring yet, so maybe the chance of Mourinho will go if he joins you or Chelsea at the end of the season. In which case, Pep becomes more likely again.

Short of bringing in Mourinho; Man Utd are going to have to implement a power sharing system involving sporting directors etc in order to counteract the inevitable downturn that Ferguson's departure will bring on.

My brother saw the big helicopter crash in Vauxhall. Fuck knows why he was there at 8am given that he's at Westminster University at his student accommodation is next to the Wembley Stadium, but he said he heard a loud bang and lots of fire.

Blowing dudes in the Vauxhall area.

I saw a load of pictures of people chucking things at lions in a zoo in China. Naturally everyone's opinion was that was disgusting and cruel. I disagree, if I knew I could get away with throwing things at a lion without it killing me then I would. That's the luxury I've attained by being at the top of the evolutionary ladder.

A Rangers fan commenting on the behaviour of another clubs fans, all 3 of them too, lol.

If a man rapes a woman, then the next day says that it is wrong for another man to rape a woman, it doesn't make that man's opinion invalid. Trying to call someone up on that is the pursuit of idiots who can't appropriate decent arguments of their own.

As I said above, I really don't see where Dean can go with it.

This is the definition of excessive force in the Laws of the Game:

Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind, using one, or both legs with excessive force and endangering the safety of an opponent is guilty of foul play.

Now the argument, obviously, is that whilst Kompany lunged he didn't endanger safety, but that's not the interpretation that the FA have used in the past. And games are clearly being refereed under the instructions that a lunge by it's nature endangers safety.

Poll, (who I don't think is very good, in his column as he was wrong with a point of law, again, the other day over Suarez hand ball incident) at least seems to say that this is what referees are told at the top level:

Referees are instructed that when a player goes into a challenge with both feet off the ground he is not in control of his actions and must be dismissed as he is endangering the safety of an opponent.

Although Kompany only makes contact with one foot, both feet have left the ground. I can see the FA bowing to public pressure and ignoring their own precedent on this and rescinding it, but to the letter of the law I don't think there's much argument.

I mean you can keep typing words and that's great. But I'm not going to read them. Because you're wrong. But please, if you want to continue then go ahead.

Just seen an article by Alan Hansen which is simply titled: Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany's red card must be overturned or the day of the tackle will be dead

One footed, full contact with the ball, from the front. If we're considering that worthy of a sending off then I really do despair. That's about as fair a tackle as it gets.
