Got the same problem. Also, some u23 teams got wrong names. Inter U23 is back to Blu-neri u23, while the first team has the correct name

 

I did the workaround described in the original post and the names are right again, even Inter Under 23 etc.

Just re-did this after the latest patch and while it fixed the Serie A club names (AC Milan, Inter, Atalanta all fine), it screwed up La Liga (which is the save I am doing). Real Betis is now Real Hispalis again for some reason, Osasuna is Atletico Pamplona again. It was fixed before, even after I installed the newest update yesterday. Now that I've reinstalled the real name fix though to fix the Serie A clubs, it reverted these La Liga teams.

 

Edit: Looks like there are more screwed up as well, the La Liga teams all have gone back to fake names and Napoli is the only Serie A club which wasn't fixed. Weird stuff

 

OK, the workaround fixed things.
