Very good first half. Eased down in second half, let Hull have the ball a bit more, though they didn't exactly threaten.

Walt's an absolutely horrendous human being. Too proud to ask for help from people willing to help him. He'd rather risk his own life (and thus, the life of his family) so he doesn't appear weak.

You pity him in the beginning, because it's a flawed man trying to make his way in the world and leave something for his family, but as soon as that doesn't factor into it anymore we're shown what kind of man Walt really is.

It's called Bleeder.

A film like Drive doesn't work if you don't manage to handle the human aspect of it, then you end up with a film like Only God Forgives.
You care about the characters, and The Driver does evolve. You may go on about a simplistic story, but a film like Dog Day Afternoon has an incredibly simple story as well. It's about how you handle it.

Quite terrible. Refn needs to put out a film that has character progression and an actually story again.

I don't see how utilizing wingers is "ugly", it's a perfectly valid way of playing football and it works. Don't see how it's any less ugly than the likes of City and Swansea (of the Rodger's era) pissing about 20 yards outside the box

Swift, crisp passing (City in their title win, not Rodgers, never Rodgers) can be entertaining to watch. Seeing a 7 foot tall freak trying to win eight hundred headers is less entertaining.

I don't have anything in particular against it tbh. I hate Stoke for primarily different reasons than that.
