Hi just wanna update. 

1. So, at the end of season 2, the award was given properly. All award now works fine
2. Now, relegated team is now properly relegated, and team promoted to Liga Super is now properly promoted.
3. Tho, what happen to KL Rover? KL rover stay in Liga Super, but have no fixtures. Im guessing KL rover stuck there and cannot be relegated.

about the awards: I am not sure because I have not touched this in my edited file. In fact, there is nowhere where you can define the awards, other than in the database. And it was not changed from the original. I would be curious if this is working with the original game (without my rule files)

 

the promotion issue: I cannot reproduce this - I tried. It is correct that KL Rovers should not be in Super League because in the first season, the Super League is reduced from 14 to 13 teams and the winner of the A1 league is not promoted.

However, in your save KL Rovers seem to be somewhere in Super League but I don't understand what has happened. Like I said, I cannot reproduce this at the moment. I will keep an eye on it.

 

So unfortunately, I have no quick solution now.

Thanks for the response. I will play another season to see if the "no award given" issue happens again, and also to see what happens to KL Rovers and the A1 League winner.

I’m writing to report an issue I’ve encountered in Football Manager 2024 (FM24) while playing in the Liga Super Malaysia. I have completed one full season in the league, and although voting took place for various awards such as MVP, Best Local Player, and Manager of the Year, none of the awards were actually given out at the end of the season.

This includes all awards – not just Manager of the Year, but also those for players. The awards section simply states “No award given” for all categories across multiple seasons, which affects immersion and the recognition system in the game.

 

Please let me know if there’s any workaround or fix available, or if you need me to share my save file or any other information.

Thank you for your continued support and for developing such a detailed and enjoyable database

You should add the r- prefix to the UID here 

 

but not necessarily in the png filename, however.

Just wanted to say a big thank you — the issue is now resolved from this method!

I really appreciate the help and guidance. Special thanks as well to mons and PoorJack for sharing a similar method that helped me get it working.

Hi everyone, Firstly, I understand this forum is mainly focused on the Sortitoutsi Face Cutout Megapack, and I truly appreciate all the hard work that goes into it. I wasn’t sure where else to ask this, so I hope it’s okay to post here. If not, please feel free to direct me to a better place.

I'm trying to add a custom cutout face for a regen player in Football Manager 2024, but it's not showing in the game — even though I've followed all the steps correctly.

Here's what I did:

  1. I have the regen's UID: 2002129049.
  2. I created a PNG image (256x256) and named it exactly 2002129049.png.
  3. I placed the image in the correct folder:
    Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics\faces\customface
  4. I created a config.xml file using FMXML.
  5. I cleared the cache and reloaded the skin in preferences (also tried restarting the game).

Face cutouts for real players work perfectly — only the regen's face is not showing.

I’ve also tested adding the r- prefix (e.g. r-2002129049.png and in the XML), but that didn’t work either.

Is there something different or broken about assigning custom faces to regens in FM24 right now?
Or do regen UIDs behave differently?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks 🙏
