No worries at all, could only imagine the extra workload everyone is under as I presume the amount of people playing FM24 still over FM26 couldn't really be expected. Dealing with two games at once cannot be easy. Thank you for fixing the issues in haste.

Just to confirm: you are not doing anything wrong and you are not going mad - I am able to replicate the experience you have had, with the latest/current version of the FM24 Data Update.

Apologies for the confusion/inconvenience - we are in the process of troubleshooting and resolving a range of challenges with the FM24 Data Update. It was, in fact, paused from late October through until now owing to some of those issues. The Site Admin and a group of us are actively working on tackling things and the current version has some issues, still. It's a priority to get them sorted.

In terms of the actual file size of the download/contents - the ~50Mb is the right size. This is, in fact, the total size that the Data Update should be. The issue is in the logical construction of the main file, which handles things like player and non-player transfers, as well as the addition of new youth players. In simple terms, we need to keep working to tackle the issues before it's ready and stable for use. I can't put an exact timeline on it, but we're working continuously to sort it out. Many/all of the complications stem from the fact that we're producing two updates (FM24 and FM26) from, effectively/as much as possible, a single data set and there are some intricacies that need to be worked out.

Absolutely understood, I am not very active on the forums so I have probably missed that it has been paused etc, apologies if I have brought up historical issues that you and your team are already dealing with.

That's perfectly fine, I think I speak for everyone when I say we would rather a “functional complete” system for the data update rather than it being rushed (not like anyone would do that would they…… I'm never playing FM26 again looool)

Ah right that's cool, crazy that it can all fit in 50MB, but I am no expert on any of this stuff.

Again thank you, for all your work today and over the years, FM24 isn't going anywhere so no need to rush.

Halloo, trying to use the FM24 data update, bought the premium version a month ago. Proceeded to give FM26 another go, helll no, refunded.

When I first bought the premium version, it worked great, everything seemed in order. Then I gave FM26 another go (bad decision) I didn't really use it.

Coming back to FM24 now, the new “live” update, to which I can see is my only option, is not working great at all. I am also having the managers as “coaches” issue, but can see you have already addressed this.

The bigger issue I am having is players not loading into the game at all? When they did last month when I first downloaded the premium version (which I have unfortunately deleted thinking FM26 would be good, lol)

Players such as Rio Ngumoha Etc are not loading, which definitely did last month as I remember being impressed by his attributes. It looks like U18's as a whole are not loading, especially in the premier league, there are simply no players.

Now I feel like I am probably being stupid and there is a larger file I am not locating and should be downloading or there are issues? 49mb seems low for the update to cover all the changes in the current present day database to FM24, so I do feel that its a me thing.

Am I being mental and there is another download I am missing? Don't want to commit to a long term save until I figure this out lol.
