I'm having the same problem, and I have been playing FM for years and not had this problem before.

I have downloaded the FMG Standard Logos Megapack and update files but can't get them to work and tearing my hair out here!

I don't think I need to move files from the updates into the relevant sub-folders of what you might call the original megapack folder?

I've taken a screenshot to show where the files are stored on my hard drive (and FYI I've managed to get the face pack and trophy pack to work).

Any help much appreciated!

Hi,

I've just fixed the same issue. The update folders do need to go into the original megapacks folder as it will update files within it.

I had a thread here about it (w/ screenshots): https://sortitoutsi.net/content/64531/installing-graphics-help-mac

Can close this thread now. Have got it working! I wasn't extracting the two update folders into the original Vapour Logos folder. Once I did that, all the graphics began to work!

Thanks for your help @mons - I just re-read your replies (much slower this time) and realised you had said to do this and I wasn't following your advice.

Have tried individually extracting the files in order (and entering the Facepacks/Kits/Logos folders to separate) and still no luck.

That's the dates the respective files were created on our servers.

Delete the first 3 folders, and download the complete 2024.02 megapack (i.e. not the update packs). I suspect you'll be fine then.

You can also delete the other rar and zip files now, no need to have them around taking up hard drive space 😉

So I clicked the green link on 2024.00 (to get the complete pack) and then the blue links for 2024.01 and 2024.02. Are you saying I should download just the 2024.02 link?

Could it also be an issue that I extracted the downloads at once? Should I do one at a time (so the first one creates the file structure and the rest might follow that rather than creating their own?)

EDIT: Also - within the ‘Graphics’ folder we need to create, do I need to create ‘Logos', ‘Kits’, ‘Facepacks’ sub folders within it? I'm sure we used to need to do it but it's not mentioned in the instructions now.

The Unarchiver should do just fine, yeah. Can I see a screenshot of what it's in the FM24 Graphics folder?

Also, if you've downloaded update packs, you should install them in the one folder, not separate ones for each update pack, overwriting when prompted.

Sure:

I'm not sure why the date modified is so far back, all files were downloaded today.

Since megapacks are generally files which are quite large, they are usually compressed to rar or zip format to make it easier and quicker to download them. This means that the downloaded files will need to be extracted before the game can read them.

You should download WinRar so that you are able to extract the bottom 5 files in your screenshot. I'm assuming that they haven't been placed in the folder titled FM24 graphics.

The fact you're getting a blank space where the graphics should be instead of the default logos means you have config files pointing to empty folders.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I used The Unarchiver which I think is the same thing as WinRar?

I used that to extract the files into the FM24 Graphics folder I created as the instructions said extracting directly to the correct Graphics folder doesn't work.

EDIT: I then copied the contents of the “FM24 Graphics” folder into the correct “Graphics” folder. It's odd that it's picked up a broken United logo, and the Aston Villa logo, but not the rest.

Hi

Sorry I'm new to Mac.

I have downloaded; FMG Vapour Logos; SS Kits Megapack; and the cutout mega pack. (Complete Files, plus most recent updates).

I extracted the ZIP/RAR files into the newly created FM24 Graphics folder in my downloads folder, then copied the contents across to: Library > Application Support > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2024 > Graphics

However, when opening the game, the logos don't load properly - for example:

Could anyone explain (as if they were talking to a child who has never used a computer before) what I've done wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Wow, who did they beat?

Juve in the final from memory.

Wasn't a spectacularly hard run I don't think. I know they beat Gala in one round.

Cracking season No surprise to see Locadia, finished as your top goal scorer.

Good to see the club investing in facilities again.

Not the best season but ill take it.

Locadia is now wanted by FCP who won the CL and he's come to me saying he wants to leave so will spend the summer fighting to keep him.

2014/15 End of Season update

League

CHAMPIONS!
http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/67/b5/67b50045018786fb52ff6b19e8441b59.png

Good showing from the squad.

Next season would like to hit 100 goals, concede less than 40 and increase the points total. Although we did only drop 19 points all season.

Europe and Cups
Both covered in earlier updates.

Long and Short of it - we did shit.

Squad
Some top individual performers in the squad and I think there's very few players currently in the Dutch League that would replace someone currently in my starting XI - so I'll look to improve the work on the Dutch talents.

Defence:
Veltman and Moisander were a solid pairing. Viergever regularly moaned he wanted more game time and was solid but not as much as the other two. Boilesen and Van Rhijn were solid, Tete is coming through on the right and Ridewald on the left, both got a fair amount of minutes this season and impressed enough that they won't be replaced this summer.
Van der Hoorn and Sporkslede need some time out on loan before they make it into my plans.

Midfield:
My formation makes it competitive for a place for one of those precious two CM positions. Schone made the AP - A position his own bagging 18 goals this season, meaning the other spot was up for grabs between 5 other players. Klaassen showed his worth although all of his goals came from being pushed into the AM role as a Shadow Striker. Andersen showed some good performances and Zimling was excellent against tougher opposition as a BWM.
Zimling's loan will end so I will need a DM next season, but Serero will still be leaving as he's not up to the grade. Ilan Boccara will be back from loan but I am undecided on whether he will be good enough.

Attack:
Starting with the wings, El Ghazi was brilliant as was new signing Sala, between them contributing 24 goals and 28 assists as Inside Forwards. Kishna made some appearances but was mostly in the shadows of Sala and El Ghazi. Fischer has come back from injury and although he didnt make a single appearance for the first team this season - should be there to provide competition from pre-season.
Sigporsson started as the main striker but was eventually ousted by Zivkovic and Locadia who both found a scoring touch and managed 35 goals between them, plus 17 assists. Milik didn't really get a look in so his loan deal will end and no more will be said about him.

Hoping to become a financial powerhouse so we can offer wages to attract better players.

Will do a couple of pre-season tours and look for a new merchandising affiliate club to spin more money. Will also be more conservative in Europe with the hope of progressing beyond the groups to get a moneyspinning knockout tie.

Transfers
There will be a clear out.

I have a good idea of who will be leaving, and expect it to be a mass clear out. There's interest in 80% of the first-team players but I have very high valuations of them so will hopefully make a profit.

I have lined up a couple of new players for next season and beyond already but the majority of the deals are yet to be done. I'm anticipating a possibility for a very different main XI for my second season in charge.

Promised them all we'd qualify for CL (the day after we did) and they were all instantly happy to stay.

Go figure.

Good news And wow, impressive money through merchandise

Is that impressive? I want more! I got some second rate Chinese club as an affiliate - hopefully will generate some extra cash.

Will do a tour of USA and Asia in pre-season to hopefully enhance to rep.

Still got them investing left, right and centre.

They're also looking for a new affiliate club to raise our profile abroad. Raking in about £500-600k p/month in merchandise revenue, hoping to see a sharp upturn in that.

I am not sure if he does when he's with Ajax

Will be hard to keep hold of him especially when big clubs are after him.

Aye that's a worry.

Got a new first team striker already signed up for next season as already looking to make changes up top. So will rotate him, Zivkovic and Locadia and hopefully.I'll only lose one. Will try and avoid release clauses where I can though.

Does he have minimum release clause in his contract?

Not sure off the top of my head - I don't think he signed a new one while I've been there.

Every man and his dog is trying to negotiate them into their contracts though and they are way short of my expectations

Mid-Season Update

Forgot to do this around the New Year mark, so early-mid Feb will have to do.

League

http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/e5/71/e571e63f77ecf45c42cffa1f678bfddf.png

Personally would have hoped for a bigger lead but can't complain at being top. A couple of defeats we should have won really, but we can't seem to draw any matches this season.

Europe
http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/a5/c6/a5c6c06c0acaed2fb96a98694b6c2376.png

The less said about Europe the better. The wider continent is clearly more ready for the 424 than I expected.

Dutch Cup
http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/e0/d7/e0d7ad34021ef43bb6f618f2dadb52d0.png

Poor. Should've progressed further, although Gronigen look like they could go on to win it.

Squad

http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/fe/54/fe54f04f64e34b7e2375ddaaa1c1a196.png

Can't complain too much there.

Zivkovic hit 4 in 2 when I started training him as a Complete Forward so he's getting regular game time now that he wasn't before the New Year. Locadia has been a steady understudy who's stepped up when Sigþórsson went out of form - which has led to Lasse Schone storming ahead as our top scorer so far.

Transfer wise, I've lined up a couple of transfers already. One I am particularly pleased with.

Nobody left in January on a permanent deal, although Cillessen, Veltman, van Rhijn, Boilesen, Andersen, El Ghazi and Schone were subject of very very weak bids. Not a single one included at least £1m upfront and none of the bids went about £6m which is far short of what I would want to replace a couple of those players.

My biggest concern going forward is that Jong Ajax have had a shocking season and are 19th in their league (ahead of Jong PSV!) but I want to clear them out in the summer and have actual prospects playing for them so their competitive enough to regularly finish in the top 5 of their division so I can then borrow some of the players for first team minutes rather than loaning hordes of players out that I'll never use or would benefit more from being under my training regime.

Ouush. Just throwing silly money at me now.

Will adjust budgets to put me back under the wage budget.

Planning to scrap a lot of the U21 players in the summer on a free to make sure only the youngsters I want to develop are playing games in my secondary teams. Rather than going out on loan and playing for the youth sides of a lesser club.

We only pay £3.71m p.a. in rent for the stadium, but it's all in the masterplan.

A 62610 capacity will hopefully not be enough in 5 years' time.

Frustrating it's not until the end of the season but works towards clubs philosophies and should help produce far better talent.

I'm not planning on selling him for awhile.

There's plenty of goals in him at this level, plenty of years left in him and he's Dutch. Win.

Also Johno, would be good to see your 424 & instructions if that's okay - still tweaking mine as it still ships goals and allows us to get overrun too easily. Even against much weaker sides.

Already a target I didn't expect to set myself.

This league should be capable of getting ahead of Portugal and Russia in the reputation ranks. Although my plan of raiding other Dutch teams for their current crop of talent might make that difficult.

Going for a new save with Ajax.

Not aiming for anything in particular right now - but with a pretty good youth system once I've bedded in, I'll look at an all Dutch side, then maybe a team entirely from the Academy.

I didn't want anybody to leave yet, so have just brought in 3 signings to add some competition.
http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/ee/7b/ee7b530702944c237d06130c69120e27.png

Marc Overmars was responsible for the Thom Senden signing as I didn't realise I'd given him the power to sign anyone.

Sala & Locadia signed very much with the future in mind.

Also made some moves in the staff market to improve the training:
http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/b6/25/b625d28f8941f6f499a90c6934d1cd97.png

Mixed bag in pre-season:
http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/9b/37/9b37ec6321ee3d0b107ac55634d866f7.png

Blooded a lot of younger players and toyed with formations.

Got a cup win in my first competitive game which is promising.

4-1 was more convincing than the game actually was.

http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/09/0d/090d537f4bd3d64f38512296508c7a5b.png

The biggest weakness at the club is probably me and my love for a 4-2-4 formation, which did me so wrong in my United save, but I am determined to make it work at Ajax.

http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/3a/ad/3aad42685719f9ebf7461c7faadbdbe1.png

Still working on my strongest XI - but I think this side should cruise to a top two finish.
