In fairness, when they play defensive tactics, they have a lot more of the possession and they can defend deeply in numbers. Mancini probably looked at Chelsea's threat on the counter-attack and thought, 'fuck that'. That said, Mancini has been criticized for overtly defensive tactics in the past, and it's probably been forgotten because United threw their 10-point lead away last season.

Not my type of film given I have absolutely no interest in politics but the dialogue was witty and funny at times and Daniel Day-Lewis was superb. Other than that, though, it bored me to tears.

I think Welbeck's off-the-ball work is pretty good, it's a bit like tracking James Milner. You'd think they're inferior because they're less likely to be on the highlight reel as a Chamberlain or a Sturridge, but defensively, they do their bit very well.

Not sure you can compare that Man Utd team with Spurs team now. For a start, United had Rooney and Tevez; Spurs have Defoe and Adebywhore.

True, but a good chunk of Ronaldo's goal were self-created. Also, Bale would have to have an embarrassing amount of assists too.
