That's my point. Why are we top 4? I'm inclined to believe that after changing stadiums, selling all our best players, and relying on 19 year olds. The fact that we are a top 4 team only serves to cement the fact that Wenger isn't just a standard manager maintaining a top 4 status quo. The fact that we are still top 4 is an achievement in of itself based off the challenges. And at least we're consistent, unlike Man Utd and Chelsea, who're both doing what Arsenal haven't done for nearly 20 years. Why? Because we have the best manager in the world, ever. Better than Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho combined.

If someone finished in the top 4 of the F1 grid every year for 20 years while the entire field changes around them, I don't think people would say that's just to be expected. Why is it just expected that Arsenal finish top 4? If a team won the league 20 years in a row would that somehow nullify the achievement just because it's been consistently achieved?

I think you're both undermining the quality of the Champions League (Which is the elite competition of Europe) while failing to understand that the premier league is an extremely competitive competition, as opposed to the SPL which has generally been dominated by 1 or 2 teams for the past however many years. I think qualifying for the champions league is an amazing acheivment. There's over 20 levels of English football and only the top 4 of the very top tear qualify for it.

As a 22 year old, most of my support for Arsenal over the past 10 years has been futile. Only 2 F.A cups, with both of them coming in the past two seasons. However, what we don't miss is consistency, Having made champions league football for around 16 years, and also escaping the group stages for the past 14, what we have is a record surpassed by only the elite clubs of the world.

Lets look at Jose Mourinho for a minute, a variety of nicknames professing his managerial prowess for his achievements with cash rich Chelsea. However, On 17 December 2015, after losing nine out of sixteen league games Jose was unceremoniously fired.

Lets cut to the chase, Arsene Wenger has had to pay for a new stadium, sell his best players, rely on young and unknown players, and still finds consistency for over a decade.
Jose has hundreds of millions to spend, wins a few trophy's and then nearly gets his team relegated - 'the special one'

My Question to you, why are Arsenal and Arsene Wenger so under-rated? What has caused the apparent complacency that people hold when thinking about the achievements of Arsenal? And last of all, what do you like/dislike about Arsenal?

Some people like the most recent pictures, hairstyles etc. While failing to realise the work isn't worth the time and effort while we still have thousands of missing images. Either way, I wouldn't let it annoy you so much. The joy of this community is the ability to request amazing mods by generous memeber of the community. If you start calling people's request pathetic just because they lacked a little foresight, then you're just going to scare people away from the community.

Wow, what are the chances of that! Boxing day game against QPR, 0-0. I bring Jelavic on for Anichebe on the 75th minute.

On the 82nd minute a through ball is played to him from Osman on the wing, he turns round the defender and lets of a rocket from the edge of the area, it's belts the lower side of the bar and goes in and gives me a 1-0 win! Great Boxing day gift there!

So, I'm around 20 games through my Everton save, sitting comfortably in 10th position, not as high as I had hoped, but reasonable considering it's my first season. Anyway, since the pre-season, Jelavic has not scored, literally! Not once, he has been through on goal ample amount of times, he's hit the bar, the post, everything.

So, I'm just curious, does anyone who's had an out-of form player, know if he reach his goalscoring potential, or do they tend to always stay in the dumps?

Transfers and transfer speculation are part-and-parcel of the transfer window and most probably always will be. I think Holloway has been in the business long enough to come to the realization of that fact. So, I don't know why he seems so frustrated, he has a fantastic player performing at his club and this player has been linked with many premier league clubs.

Just bad luck. events like these injuries usually transpire in real football, maybe not as severe or on a regular basis, but still, they happen. Just approach it with a smile, and accept the challenge! I've never had as much bad luck as this, so I don't reckon it's a game bug. I think, it may just be a bit of awfull rotton luck on your part, my friend.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm currently using him as AP, but he doesn't seem to be making a substation inpact. I'll give attacking mid a try now.

Change the skin then. This iteration has many improvements over previous iterations. I'll agree with you on the match engine, but it isn't game breaking, at all.

Just sold Felliani on my Everton game for £25,000,000 not a bad profit margin in comparison to the 16,000,000 he cost. Anyway, I have bought Adel Taarabt from QPR as a replacement for just 9,000,000. I was just looking for some advice on how to play him in terms of roles and player instructions from the more seasoned FM players out there.

Hi, a quick question regarding starting a new game. You see, when I have read FM stories online, many people claim to be using real managers, and have a real picture to match, for example, one story had someone managing an italian team with a real Italian player, it had his real picture and the news article roughly said "TEAM have announced PLAYER as their new manager, he had XX caps for his country"

So how is this done? Do you create a normal manager and then edit him/her with FMRTE? Because I would love to start a managerial career with someone like Paul Scholes.
