looking through the list of players in the database who are 15-16 at the start, pretty much anyone born in 2007 or earlier is unlikely to be in the game, with small exceptions, and there are like 3 players from 2008, so pretty much anyone goes for that birth year. for context, the jagiellonia player i was talking about was born 20 may 2008, so would be the youngest player in the original database

I already wrote the list of Arka players to be added, i was thinking more of who is the youngest in terms of birth date to add younger players to other teams. for example, recently a 16yo debuted for current poland champions Jagiellonia and scored on his debut, but he surely isn’t in the database as he would have been 14 at the start of the previous season. i wanted to make a list of all such players who (after adding +1 age -1 contract) would need to be added as a potentially new wonderkid/young talent.

Does anyone know who is the youngest player in the original database and where was the cutoff for the youngest players? now that Arka is (or will soon be) updated, I want to make a spreadsheet of young players that need to be added at some point 🙂

Because there is no data on V Liga football, i compiled a table of how many minutes each of them played (+goals) from match reports. This, combined with age, quality of the team (not in opta analyst but estimating off of the lowest available teams and results in the league should be like 42 power ranking probably) etc. should give a rough idea of how much CA and PA they should have

I don't think it makes much sense to add the u17's, but this is the team https://www.arka.gdynia.pl/index.php?typ=druzyna&id=19 (all not in the game). If you do add them, Szymon Tkaczyk, Eryk Urbański and Fabian Ziółkowski were highlighted as standout players.

It's also important to note which of these players were on the winter early training camp and the Turkey main winter training camp, as that will highlight the potential of these players that they are being taken to train with the first team.

since that date he is no longer chairman, not sure how else to represent that than the contract end date

also another thing to Arka: our average attendance last season was 5100 (despite a boycott lasting half a season) and this season it's 6500 thus far, our attendance needs to be improved from 4000 to at least 6000

There are also 6 new affiliated clubs to Arka's academy, with Arka being the senior club. Not sure how exactly these deals will translate into fm, but translating what is written on the site, all of these are, “among other things” :
training, coaching internships, the introduction of a model training model for the development of children and young people, the playing of control games, a clear football pathway for talented players, participation in tournaments, promotion of clubs and academies.

The clubs are: Polonia Bytom, Gryf Wejherowo(they already have an affiliation in fm), Latarnik Choczewo, KS Wladyslawowo, Kaszubia Koscierzyna, Salos Rumia.

i also disagree with mareck's decision to lower konrad krzebietke potential, bro is registered with the first team since 16yo having just turned 17 and looks really good everytime we catch a glimpse of his training

a lot changed in Arka Gdynia's staff, and not all changes are reflected in the update. If necessary i can produce an exhaustive list, but off the top of my head:

-miro bozok is no longer a scout 
-new keeper coach
-new academy coaches/academy manager

also, Energa became the general sponsor, which should be reflected in the cash status of the club, and by the quality of high-profile staff additions (Dawid Szwarga, Wojciech Pertkiewicz) i feel like the reputation needs to be significantly boosted with the new owners (the new ownership is there in the update already i believe) from 4000 to about 4200-4300

other changes i might suggest include:
- increasing hide vitalucci potential
- gaprindashvili change to left-footed and natural at right inside forward
- adding a bunch of youngsters (refer to arka gdynia u19s, arka gdynia II and arka gdynia squads), most notably Kamil Górecki and Miłosz Kaczmarek at at least ‘-6’ potential (they already play/train with the first team)
