I don't have dbc, edt or lnc folders in this folder : Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2018\data\database\db\1800\lnc

All I have in that folder is folders called "all" and "greek"

but I do have them all in this folder : Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2018\data\database\db\1800\

Is the path in the instructions wrong?

Have you tried Winrar at all?

That's got it! Should know better than to trust the apps that Microsoft recommends...

Many thanks for your help.

Then it's almost certainly an issue your end. What program are you using to extract it and what OS do you have?

Just upgraded to Windows 10 and didn't have any unpackers installed due to a recent hard-disk meltdown, so have tried the top 3 rated ones from the app store but none of them managed to unpack it. The latest one is called Opener but I uninstalled the others so can't remember exactly which ones they were.

Hmm, that's strange. Haven't heard that before with this file. I'm attaching it to this post for your convenience.

Tried again with that file and it still says it may be damaged and won't extract it :-(

Don't suppose anyone could maybe create a zip file instead of a rar file and see if that helps?

I keep getting "Could not open the archive, may be damaged" - I've tried downloading the file a few times, and also tried a few different extraction tools. Any ideas please?
