I actually think that the one you provided is worse since he's not watching to the camera. I cut them both though so you can compare them yourself. Ieven tried to move his pupils so he'd be watching towards the camera and he ended up looking a psycho
And to be clear, this are both an image of the same person so pick the on you think is the better and have the other one as an alternative.

I doubt that would be an improvement. Part of his hair is missing and combined with his hairstyle it's very hard to get it properly done. Not worth the effort from that image in my opinion. Just because the picture is newer doesn't mean it's automatically better than the existing cut, which might even be a very old one.

The original post clearly says that a non-profile picture is not an improvement over a quality profile cut (in the spoiler). He hasn't aged much in two years anyway so I really don't see that being an improvement. I'd get it if his look would've changed more but even his hairstyle has remained the same.

I'm not entirely sure what you are saying since your English is quite broken, but I'm using Photoshop CS6 and Veritas Fluid Mask 3 and sometimes Topaz ReMask 3 since it seems to be working better with some pictures than Fluid Mask. I'd recommend you to read THIS thread. There's a lot of helpful information and guides available.

Both of those cuts got a HUGE amount of snow around them. Always check the cuts on dark and bright backgrounds. The second one should be rotated too.

The quality of your source ain't very good and it's a dark hair on dark background, which makes it a lot harder to have a clean cut. I would say that it's not an improvement over the one I did. In my opinion a few months older source is always better if the image quality is superior, especially if the hairstyle hasn't changed.

Funny how the smaller picture gave a sharper cut. A cut from the larger picture was a bit fuzzy.

His face is unnaturally wide in your cut and there's a lot of black snow around the edges and there's a lot of empty space below the cut. I did clean it up a bit, but if you'd be able to give me a link to the original picture I could probably do a better cut.

I'm not sure if my cut of Timothy Nocchi is really an improvement or if it can really be cut so well from that source. There's my effort anyway.
