Just tried it, and the blank box does not appear at the first page. Really annoying because i have done this before for updates and never had a problem before

yes i know about clicking the little black square for the changes to apply. But before i even get that far, this new update is not showing up in the database drop down list. Only my default, and previous 12.2.0 are highlighted. So it's not picking up the new download somehow.
I created a "editor data' file within my documents on Sports interactive as shown above?

i mean REMEMBER TO CLICK THE BLANK BOX AT THE FIRST PAGE
the new update WILL BE showed up at the next step

my documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\editor data\

I have also followed the instructions as above, like gibbo and the new update does not appear in the selection box when starting a new game.
Any more ideas anyone?

when u click start a new game ，u should click the little blanksquare showing
