Just a personal preference to differentiate the old from the new - the change on the French Wikipedia is described as thus -

"This (2001 / 2002) was the last championship of France under the name 'Division 1'. The following year the LNF (National Football League) was renamed LFP (Professional Football League), and Division 1 became Ligue 1."

But I will change this back for the next version, so it's just Ligue 1 from 1933-today 🙂

Also, C1 - is that the Champions League? because it changed format from the European Cup to the Champions League
(for example, if in conversation would you say Nottingham Forest won the Champions League, or would you say they won the European Cup?)

I'm afraid I won't be changing the Champions League, but I can show you how to do it if you want to change it on your downloaded copy?

First, I'm not criticizing your work. It's really a plus for a game like FM.

Regarding the champions league, I don't like the new format with the seeded players and the overrepresentation of the English, Spanish, Italians...

But Real Madrid won their "DECIMA" in 2014. The tenth. It takes into account the first of the 50s where some clubs were not champions but invited. Forest has won 2 C1, "Coupe des clubs champions européens", like Chelsea or Porto.

I'm actually interested to see how you managed to modify it.

Great work.

I do not understand why in France for example you separate the championship (league 1) post 2002 with the championship pre 2002 (D1). Just the name changes.

Similarly, why the C1 is separated with the post 1992 distinction.

It breaks the immersion to see Milan AC with only 3 C1.

On the other hand, the work on the eastern championships is admirable.
