Get Blackwell in for a right laugh. His post-match interviews about being 14 points adrift and his 44% win percentage are comedy gold. His football will remind you of the good old times because it will be the seventies all over again! You'll also sign players you thought they died seven years ago.

What are you waiting for?! Get him now!

The best captain I've seen at Huddersfield Town (with the possible exception of Chris Lucketti first time around). Slow, yes. Prone to flying in to last-ditch blocks, yes. But the best leader you'll see. He's 33 now and probably 2 years past his best, but it should be remembered he's played over 100 games in the Championship in the last 3 years and I expected to see him sign for a top side in that division as part of a concerted promotion push. You'll never see a more passionate football man. Still got so much love for Peter Clarke despite his shortcomings.

Sounds too good. Not someone for the fancy cup ties on Skysports but someone for the dirty away days at Oldham, Rochdale or Walsall on a Tuesday night. What we need to be fair

Peter Clarke is our first signing of the summer. Bit of mixed emotions with that signing. Clarke probably means we're not getting El-Abd back, who has done superb during his loan spell. Also think he might be too slow for League One, given he slow he was at Huddersfield last time we were around. BUT, Clarke bags loads of experience and could be a leader for the young and fresh faces that are (hopefully) following him

Yeah I know him. Linked with the Rangers post every now and then. Only got sacked at the Staggies because he's a bit of an arse, got into an argument with his chairman and thinks he's the scottish Pep Guardiola. Good manager though, but nobody you'd like to tell your parents back home about.

Beattie would be a good appointment. Doubt he'd come down south though. Or Feeney maybe.

95% of those guys mentioned are either coaches without a pedigree in management (Wotton, Coughlan, McCarthy) or dinosaur manager hasbeens or managers who miserably failed elsewhere (Blackwell, Colin Wanker, Clark, Hockaday). Hope you don't get any of these

So it's Southend who join Shrewsbury, Burton and us into League 1 after one hell of a play-off final. Scored in the 120th minute to get to penalties aswel

I'm attending the World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt next month. Wasn't a fan of this tournament at first, but it's something else and you see a lot of fresh faces from other countries playing some good darts, like Poland last year or Hongkong or Spain in 2010.

Does someone on here follow the ProTour and the whole circuit in general actually?

What's so bad about Rosler? I don't think his successes at Brentford and Wigan (his 1st season anyway) was a flash in the pan, there's a good manager in him.

I didn't say he was a bad manager or something along the lines. I just think that Rosler, not having been connected to the club before, might be in for a hard time before his tenure even started. And with the treatment of Redfearn and Cellino still being at the helm and having a massive say in transfers and everything, I just can't see this working at all

So, Leeds appoint Uwe Rosler as their new manager. Could't have thought someone worse for the job than him

To be fair, offering odds on which player will next fail a drugs test is the kind of thing that Paddy Power might do.

Surprised this is not the case just yet tbh

So, Wycombe vs Southend is going to be the League Two play-off final. Both teams deserve it because of the way they played in the regular season. BE interesting to see who wins it now, kinda fancy Wycombe but Phil Brown has been in a play-off at Wembley before so he is familiar with the situation which Ainsworth isn't

Would understand the whole decision if his current club would be going nowhere but this man actualy build Chesterfield and was just two games away from Wembley and a possible promotion to the Champonship. Bit of a step back imo

Ended 6-6 on aggregate. How do Swindon go through?

7-6 to Swindon. Swindon won 2-1 at Sheffield and now a 5-5 draw

Obvs the one with the specs as everything else would be classed as fraudistic.

But at least I know your name now, Liam xx

Think Plymouth had hard luck tonight.

First half was all Plymouth, had lots of possession but lacked the final ball (Mellor especially). Goals conceded were unlucky. First one was just poor defending after a corner, second one was obviously a handball for the assist and the third one just after the start of the second half almost broke their neck. Zak Ansah's goal was class but the got lucky there, when one of the Wycombe players (thought it was Yennaris?) slipped and couldn't close Ansah down and the 2-3 keeps them pretty much in the tie.

Still fancy Wycombe though.

Still Flitcroft out?

I give him credit. Got the job done and obviously got the results in the latter sages of the season, especially away. Still think we dropped some points we shouldn't have due to his stubborness and his naivety but he got the job done and I 'm happy about that because you could see on his face how much he wanted this and how muc he wants to achieve.

Meanwhile, the excitement of the play-offs is upon us. What's your predictions people?

Norwich, Chesterfield and Southend for me.

Championship: Would like to see Boro coming up. Played nice football and are a proper club. Just can'T see Brentford making it and neither Ipswich and Norwich add something to the Premier League imo

League One: Think Preston's confidence might be shattered so I think Chessy might sneak through that draw. Swindon and Sheffield haven't been that good as of late but I fancy Sheffield for the play-off final, where Chesterfield wins.

League Two: Nothing against Stevenage or Plymouth but MUST be either Wycombe or Southend. Would be criminal if 84 points in the regular season doesn't get you promotion. 84 points would have won the league two seasons ago.

Three days of full on hardcore alcohol abuse and things finally start to sink in. What an incredible day that was Saturday. You could feel the nerves, We played one of the worst games of the season and could hardly string five or six passes together and just looked nervous as a team. Everytime Morecambe scored you could feel that today was our day. The belief in the stands was even higher then our nervousness and when Tom Soares finally broke the deadlock for us everything just went so fast, time just seemed irrelevant from that point. The scenes when the full time whistle went at Morecambe and then at Tranmere. Unforgettable. All the heartbreak and all the pain suffered throughout the season just fell off us. The celebration at Gigg Lane, the joy in the faces of each and every player and staff member, these are the memories that will stick with me forever. Can't wait for League One now. What an achievement for the club. Wow. Wow. Wow
