Hello guys and yes it is true !!

But where is the proof he's going to be on £80k a week at Manchester City? We're aware it's a done deal.

Have you seen his contract? No one knows for sure how much any footballer is on per week.

Wait, when did they put the League Cup into Northern/Southern sections? I mustn't have been paying much attention during preseason.

Is there a winner of an actual cup in this then?

Aye, PSG ended up winning it with one game in the competition remaining - Inter (bottom) vs. Celtic (second bottom) which is played next Saturday. If Barcelona had beaten Liverpool by four clear goals (think that's what I heard) then they would've ended up winning it instead of the French side.

Charlton have bid £100k for Josh Magennis, I'm aware he's a fellow Bangorian but Charlton could surely do better?
West Ham have agreed a £20m bid for Swansea striker Andre Ayew,
Peterborough have had a £1.2m bid rejected by Hibernian for their striker Jason Cummings.

Barry Holland is a good little signing - formerly of Bangor when he was just a pup.

So we ended up getting beat 1-0, didn't play great but I'll give them a 'bye ball' due to the five new signings. Had a stonewall penalty turned down in the first half when the score was nil each and then Fulham scored just before half time. Perhaps we could've had a second penalty but I think that one would've been harsh.

Two consecutive home games coming up now, we need to get six points.

Cork have just pulled a goal back, 2-1 down on the night but they need to find three more without reply in 30-odd minutes.

That's a complete joke, if true.

So, Cork are in trouble as they're currently a goal down at home to Genk on the night (2-0 on aggregate now) and Aberdeen missed a penalty away to Maribor in which they're 'keeper was somehow not sent off despite a) hacking down the Aberdeen chap and b) being the last man.

Surprised the West Ham game isn't live tonight.

Cork/Genk is live on Eir Sports (formerly Setanta Ireland) while the Maribor/Aberdeen game is on Premier Sports.

West Brom have called off a £15m bid for Sakho - will Berahino still leave though this transfer window?

Florian Thauvin has rejoined Marseille from Newcastle on an initial loan deal but have "an obligation" to make the deal permanent.

And Newcastle have reportedly rejected two bids (don't think it said from who) for Ayoze Perez.

I hope so mate. It may be with Braintree if we can keep up this form.

Just get Braintree to the Premier League and make Northampton regret not giving you the job.

Indeed they were. I remember they even had the 'audacity' to take the lead at White Hart Lane as well.

It's up to you at the end of the day @Fola but how long are Northampton likely be in administration for? It's one of them, you could take the job (if you're offered it) and turn the fortunes around and get them healthy financially but you could also regret the switch to Six Fields.

Really chuffed, didn't think they could pull it off but fair play! Convincing win too. That means they've at least got a place in the Europa League group stages, which I think would be awesome enough in itself. However, only one round away from the champs league group stage!

Shame there's so many narrow minded people on the BBC website referring to them as a 'pub team' instead of actually congratulating them on an excellent result but I'm sure the Dundalk management team, the board and supporters could care less. They're guaranteed European group stage football regardless of what happens - whether that'll be in the Champions League or Europa League remains to be seen.

Five years ago, Shamrock Rovers competed in the Europa League group stages, next it'll (more than likely) be Dundalk.

Unbelievable to have lost the tie due to three second half stoppage time goals. Mental.

Irish team Dundalk need to turn around a 1-0 deficit tonight to stay in the Champion's League. A tough task against BATE but I hope they do it!

Won 3-0 against BATE to progress, happy for them so I am.

5 mill for a back up Championship CB/LB

Yup, it's the norm now pal. Injuries aside, I suspect Mbemba/Hanley and Lascelles to be the first choice pairing.

Yeah i believe he can. He'll only be back-up anyway should he sign.
