It may have taken almost forty years but I have finally returned to Clyde Football Club determined to get the club promoted back to the Championship at the first time of asking and in return meaning I've chalked off Scotland once and for all but it isn't going to be difference that's for sure. The club are predicted to finish the campaign in third place.
Before my arrival, Clyde had already brought in several new faces but due to the lack of central midfielder's I decided to bring in Matt Marshall and Jack Barrowman on free transfers while I also captured centre back Marco Ricci on a free too, I'm sure they'll all be key players for the club this season on our potential promotion push.
I can't complain with how the pre season programme went as we didn't lose a single game from our five friendlies played. We managed to beat Cove Rangers, BSC Glasgow away from home and Cambuslang Rangers at home while we drew at home to Wrexham and home to Partick in Coll's testimonial game.

The resignation was accepted by the board of directors at Wolfsburg as I looked towards another adventure in football manager as my motivation continues in this 'epic' career to date. Because I only have three leagues loaded (that haven't been completed) then the job was going to be either in Switzerland, Scotland or remaining in Germany.
I am returning to Broadwood Stadium for the first time in almost forty years as I 'wowed' them in the job interview, even though I got a question from the chairman - "why should I give you a second chance", my response was "because I f**king said so". The club were relegated from the Championship last season and are predicted to finish in third place, I have been given a transfer budget of one point four million pound but I might push some of that into the wage budget, I haven't decided yet.

Once again it's time to wish everyone a belatent Happy New Year as we have now entered the year twenty fifty five, I am officially a 'coffin dodger' in the world (on the game, obv.) but I'm still mentally strong to take on this challenge to try and collect every trophy possible around the world, this is the end of season update at Wolfsburg and the question remains, will it be my last season at Die Wolfe?
German Cup:
The run in this seasons German Cup ended in the third round following a defeat at home to Bundesliga side Paderborn, which we unfortunately lost on penalties after a three all draw after extra time. Thought we could have beat them, especially after beating Schalke in the previous round and we also beat Hoffenheim in the first round.
League - Second Division:
I HATE our inconsistent form, after the winter break the form was excellent as we went seven games without a defeat (five wins and two draws) but then the form went dramatically downhill and the campaign ended with just one win and a draw from the previous eight games. Frustrating, we'll never achieve anything with inconsistency.
Despite the atrocious end to the campaign we defied our media expectations and secured an eighth place finish, the side were predicted to finish fourteenth and the pleasing thing was we conceded less goals than last season but also scored less goals as we definitely missed Max Meyer who ended up making zero league appearances for Stuttgart, great signing for them.
It was a tough decision to make as I was enjoying my time at the club but I have decided to 'part company' with Wolfsburg and tender my resignation with immediate effect and despite all the 'hard work' I put in, we could only lift the Third Division title in twenty fifty three and that's a shame...

I know exactly how it feels to miss out on promotion due to losing on penalties, it hurts so it does.

I've now entered my third season here at Wolfsburg and once again it's time for a mid season update and I expect a much better campaign this time around but once again it's going to be difficult, especially considering we don't have star man Max Meyer on our books anymore as he moved to Stuttgart on a free.
German Cup:
We remain in the German Cup and we'll face Bundesliga side Paderborn at home in the third round of the competition and I'd like another Bundesliga scalp after we beat Schalke three goals to two after extra time in the second round while we beat Hoffenheim in the first round.
League - Second Division:
Even though we have only won once in the previous seven games which is frustrating, I can't complain how the first part of the league season has gone as it's been an improvement on last season. Our best result to date this season has to be the single goal win away to league favourites Stuttgart.
After nineteen league games we find ourselves lying in eight place and that's a major improvement [b]as after nineteen games last season we were down near the bottom[b] but the one win in seven league games is alarming and we need to win games as soon as possible or we'll end up in a relegation dogfight.
I'm also pleased to announce that I've agreed a two year contract extension at the club and that'll see the deal now expire at the end of June in the year twenty fifty seven, I had seven months remaining on my existing deal, rather I remain at the club next season remains to be seen.

Last season we had some serious inconsistency as the club finished the campaign in tenth place, one lower than our predicted finish, this upcoming campaign is going to be just as difficult, if not more difficult especially considering we have ended up losing our star striker.
Once again the clubs board expect a minimum of a mid-table finish and in the process, we're predicted fourteenth out of eighteen and it's going to be another tough campaign for the club as we must remain in at least the Second Division, we've been given a transfer budget of six hundred and fifty thousand pounds.
I've ended up bringing in eight new faces this summer but once again it's unknown how many will be first team regulars. Trio Lucas Schmidt, Klaus Hirsch and Joachim Ammann agreed pre contracts from Berlin-Kopenick Dammfeld, Schalke and Bayern Munich respectively while Danus Ionescu, Daniel Bottcher, Sven Claes, Jordan Neill and Choi Sang-Hoon joined the club on free transfers.
Five players ended up departing the club this transfer window and the biggest departure saw star striker Max Meyer join Stuttgart on a free transfer - Michael Fleischer, Amanullah Zia and Jorg Artmann departed when I didn't renew their contracts while Reiner Riedle went to Hoffenheim.
Can't complain with how the preperations for the season has went as we ended up playing seven friendlies, winning five of them - beating Lupo-Martini, CSKA Moscow, Goslar, Lok Leipzig and Fallersleben, we drew at home to Lens and lost at home to Watford.

It has been a frustrating first half of the league season as due to our inconsistent form, we find ourselves down in fourteenth place and only two points above the relegation/promotion play-off spot, but we are currently nine points above RW Essen who are second bottom, we need to try and climb away from danger.
League - Second Division:
So my second full season at Wolfsburg has come to an end and it's been a frustrating campaign for the club as yet again the inconsistency returned but at least we managed to avoid relegation and that's the important thing. Once again Max Meyer had a fantastic season for the club and it's a shame he's leaving after 'refusing' to sign a new deal, he'll be missed dearly.
We have ended the season in tenth place below our pre season predicted ninth place finish and that's a shame but it was a promising enough campaign and something I'm confident we can build upon next season and maybe finish higher. The most annoying part is that we scored EIGHTY goals but still conceded more . . . something that needs to be addressed.

We have reached the winter break here in my second full season in German football and to say it's been a mixed season to date is an understatement. As I've said in the previous update (or at least I hope I did) we are predicted to finish the season in ninth place and I'd be delighted if we can achieve that this season.
German Cup:
Our run in this seasons German Cup came to an end in the third round after a seven one defeat away to Bundesliga side Dortmund who currently lead the top tier, Max Meyer scored our consolation goal that night - we beat RBL and Jena in the previous two rounds before our third round exit to the current German Cup holders.
League - Second Division:
It's been a mixed first half of the season as we've really struggled to find consistency bar those back to back wins before the winter break, which I hope will be the turning point of our season while before that we had only won twice in the previous ten league games, beating Dusseldorf and Hamburg St. Pauli, it was a dreadful run of form.
And that's why after nineteen league games we find ourselves down in fourteenth position and only two points ahead of Dusseldorf who occupy the relegation/promotion play-off position as they've also had a dreadful campaign following their relegation from the Bundesliga. My team are only three points behind our predicted ninth place finish and it's definitely achievable but we need to get consistency.

Like I have said before Fola, Wolfsburg had been in the third tier of German football for around eight seasons before I took charge and sealed promotion to the Second Division and I'm under no illusions that it's going to be difficult but I just hope the board don't put too much pressure on me.
Following our league success last season it meant the club had finally been promoted to the second tier of German football for the first time in around nine or so years and I knew it was going to be tough next season, especially if the board didn't give us 'realistic' expectations. We'll also be in the German Cup for the first time under my reign.
So yeah, the pressure is going to be on me from the beginning as the clubs board expect a minimum of a top half finish and that's a little unrealistic in my opinion but I'll sure try my best to achieve it nonetheless. We have been given a transfer budget of seventy five thousand but I don't know whether I'd use it or not.
Just two players arrived and left the club this summer. The two players who joined the club was left back Eric Dao and central midfielder Mohammed Hosain Amiri who had agreed pre-contracts with Freiburg and Bremen respectively while leaving was Eric Toppmoller who left when his contract wasn't renewed and left back Murphy Mutombo who went to Dusseldorf after refusing to sign a new deal.
A perfect pre season!! Although the results don't matter in pre season as it's all about fitness, the four wins from four games should help for confidence purposes . . . or so I hope but it's going to be a tough league campaign.
We are predicted to finish the season in ninth place, it's going to be tough.

Yep, they've had a fall from grace bmg033, it's up to me (unless I get chopped) to bring them back to the Bundesliga.
It's time to wish everyone a "Happy New Year" to all my followers, we are now in the year twenty fifty three and we're still in the hunt for promotion to the second tier of German football unless we have a monumental collapse in the second part of the season. We have around seventeen league games remaining to try and secure Second Division football next season.
League - Third Division:
It was an enjoyable second part of the campaign as we only dropped points in six games but the most frustrating one was the three all draw away to Hoffenheim - we led three nil - the best result saw us come from two one down at half time to beat Munster seven goals to two at home. It turned out to be an enjoyable second stint in German football but did we secure the minimum of promotion?
Champions! And for the first time in around eight seasons, Wolfsburg are out of the third tier of German football and hopefully never to return, at least while I'm manager. We finished twelve points ahead of runners-up Cottbus who have also been promoted while Stuttgarter K. will be in the play-off's.
And the final piece of news has seen us agree a one year contract extension at the club that'll now see me deal finish at the end of June twenty fifty five, but I'd love to remain at the club until Germany is conquered but if a 'big' team job becomes available then I'd be stupid not to apply, right? Right?
This summer has seen me turn down a few job interviews from fellow German clubs, the most notable being Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, it was tough to decline the interview but I need to be committed at Wolfsburg . . . at least for now.
