Torres was outstanding and is looking more and more like he's recapturing some quality form.

For the pointless ones he's scored (is there such a thing as pointless goals anyway?), he also scored some crucial goals in league games, cup games and across Europe.
He's obviously not bagged them in the league like he once did but he's still managed some important ones nonetheless.
Edit: Chelsea were spoiled with a player like Drogba, you don't see those types with all those qualities often. It's easy to forget that at times.

Does that fix anything with online play though?

Been playing FIFA 14 a bit recently and this has been one of the biggest annoyances, particularly when defending.
Nothing worse than having a defender there to cover a through ball of some sort only for your defender to just stop during switching players and leaving the attacker clean through.

Agreed.
Nothing spectacular but a good win nonetheless.
Good to see Torres net a brace also.

Wasn't the only poor decision in the match. To be fair, the keeper shouldn't have even been on the pitch to be involved in such a play. He should have been sent off for handling ball clearly outside of the box moments before.
Either way, happy with the 3 points.

He's a good little player, though I don't see Sunderland being the right fit for him in the long run. He's not really nailed down a solid position the last few years either, floating all across the midfield for both Juve and the Azzurri.

Not surprised by this. He'll probably feature from the bench though.
I'm more curious to know if we'll risk Hazard or not.

You can't just assume.
I've come into this thread for other reasons, having only seen s1-2 and enquired further. Obviously now that people have abandoned spoiler tags because of yourself it's now partly ruined and revealed aspects of the show which I'd rather avoid until watching myself. Which I'll probably do at some point when I'm done with other shows I watch.
As Fanny said, it's some common courtesy for those who are either late or haven't quite caught up.

Don't get me wrong, it's enjoyable and definitely seems to have progressed in character development and overall depth. I just didn't get that moment that made me want to sink my teeth right into it and prevented me from pulling myself away. I found myself more enthralled by something like Sons Of Anarchy which would leave watching and wanting more every time. Even though I know it's probably not as developed in an overall capacity compared to that of Breaking Bad.

He's going to fuck the entire country, let alone health care and education.
Paper over cracks with short sighted "solutions", which will only fuck this country over in the long term.

Can't find the actual article itself, it was just one that I clicked on from elsewhere (possibly Daily Mail). It basically just outlined how Wenger wasn't impressed with Mourinho pulling the plug last minute on the deal after Arsenal were to the point of sorting out a medical for Ba. Deal was pulled after it was known Ozil had signed. Mourinho felt that with Ba added to the side along with Ozil Arsenal would be title contenders.
I don't see the relevance. We weren't selling Ba and Mourinho had no issue with offloading players to rivals (loaned Moses to Liverpool, point in case). It was simply down to what I mentioned above. With Ba they'd have been a greater threat, now we've left Arsenal with only one main striker, which of course benefits us.

Can honestly say I'm stunned that we've let Lukaku go out on loan, though a striker did require to leave for a good balance. Hopefully he has another cracking season at Everton.
I think Torres, Ba and Eto'o will be enough given the number of quality support players who can fill the gaps. Just would have liked to seen a quality ball winning mid come in, but can't have it all.

Inter Milan are said to be interested in signing him.
Part of me wants him to stay because I do like him, but I just can't see him having any sort of consistent impact without all the negative scrutiny he'll continue to endure. That said, if he's sold and Ba leaves, we're back to needing another striker again. So doesn't make much sense in that regard.
