And I'm back (by popular demand)! Right, it's time to pick up the pace a little. Last time out we suffered a well annoying defeat to Dinamo Moscow in the Europa League 2nd Knockout Rnd, but I have to say it was a relief to give up on that extremely tiring fixture list of ours.



Since then we have marched on in the league and this is how things stand with only two games left of the season!



Ever since that epic run of wins we have managed to keep PSG behind us. And guess what; it's all going down in a league final at Stade Abbé Deschamps 13 May in the 37th league game of the season. We then have St. Etienne away in the final round, while PSG have Lens at home.

Can't say I particularly enjoyed any of the quarter finals tbh. Hopefully the semi-finals will be better.

The Bayern Munich team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt and three other members of the medical team quit the club on Thursday, saying they had been blamed for the Champions League defeat against Porto the previous night.

The renowned Müller-Wohlfahrt, who has worked at Bayern since 1977, released a statement saying: “After Bayern Munich’s game in the Champions League against Porto ... the medical team were made responsible for the defeat”

The other three members walking out were Müller-Wohlfahrt’s son, Kilian as well as Peter Ueblacker and Lutz Hänsel.

Napoli are 2-0 up already. Didn't see that one coming.

CL is a winnable competition (obv.) for Bayern and under Heynckes in 2012/2013 they proved to be the best team in Europe by far. Last season they lost 5-0 to Real Madrid on aggregate and they are currently under by 3-1 after the 1st leg against Porto. CL is where Pep has to prove his worth and so far it's not looking good after the first two tries. Injures or not. Still, I think they have chance at home v Porto.

Bayern completely dominating Bundesliga securing the title at an early stage and failing to perform in the Champions League. Sound familiar, Pep?
